My take on the Bwindi Foundation/Orphanage:

There is also the Bwindi Orphans & Vulnerable Children Center set up in 2015 by Benedict Habasa, Ronald Ngabirano and Justus Akampurira. Their photos seem to show an already operational facility with the children wearing 'Bwindi Buhoma Orphans and Vulnerable Group' uniforms. Sponsorship for a full term was $300. Last (and only) post was in 2018. Buhoma is on the Northern edge of the Impenetrable National Park.

The current Bwindi Foundation appears to have been set up by John Katutsi in 2017 near the Nteko Village. The Nteko Ridge is on the South Western edge of the Impenetrable National Park.

The Park itself is about 125 square miles big and is within one the most densely populated rural area in Uganda. Approximately 10,000 families live and cultivate land around the Park. Therefore its more than reasonable that the two Orphanages have nothing to do with each other.

The Bwindi Foundations Social Media accounts seem to be a bit hit and miss, even though they list Amy (a Doula) with running the Projects IG account (which I can't find).

The Foundation was registered as a Charity in Uganda (by the Kisoro District Local Government) and they posted a picture of the Certificate on the day it expired (23/06/2018).

Facebook:

Bwindi Trust Orphanage Foundation - Btof. Set up in Apr 2017, quite prolific with posts until late 2020. Only 2 posts in 2021. A lot of its posts are shares from Frank Lomas and Bob Fry (see below).

Bwindi Orphanage Child Sponsorship. Seems to be the current main page set up in 2018 and has a lot of recent posts.
They also message each other over Social Media which might suggest they are run as separate organizations. Both link to the Bwindi Project Webpage.

Red flags:

Bwindi Orphanage Child Sponsorship Facebook page (the page that tagged our dear Eloise as a sponsor) tagged Angela Vittoria in a post. Took me a little while to remember but Vittoria (who is friends with Ellie) runs the Cambridge CBD Company (in a very opaque manner), which itself was one on the businesses that aligned itself with PTTP (and links there from its homepage). Its odd that this is the only time they've tagged someone in the comments in isolation. This occurred 2 days after Ellie messaged them and a day before they posted about her as a sponsor. The page also discusses visiting the children in March (2022), so whoever runs it (I'm assuming Frank Lomas [See below]) is not in Uganda.

The Bwindi Foundation website lists its address as Jersey even though it is registered in Uganda.

Mention of FGM. FGM in Uganda is very low (0.3%) and is mostly concentrated in the (poorer) North Eastern area of the Country. Mentioning it does play to the White Saviour mindset.

Personalities:

Frank Lomas from Manchester-Organised the main GoFundMe in Aug 2017 and its his personal phone number on the Bwindi Foundation Webpage. The GoFundMe gives a concise history of activities to do with the Foundation. Some pictures do show staff members wearing the Bwindi Foundation T-Shirts.
This year he also started a Justgiving for sickle cell treatment for a child in Tanzania.
And another Justgiving and GoFundMe for Wheels of Hope in Uganda.
And another Justgiving for supporting a teenager in Tanzania who had his leg crushed in an accident.
And another GoFundMe at the beginning of 2019 for Nteko Village Orphanage which seems to be more focused to child sponsorship as opposed to the construction of the School/Dormitories of the older GoFundMe.

Bob Fry-Organizes/Shares low level fund raising activities for the Foundation. Very vocal on political viewpoints, Remainer, Socialist, pro refugee, pro animal welfare (particularly dogs).
Oddly in some of her comments another Facebook Page "Bwindi Vulnerable and Orphan children's Support Project" is tagged, there is an associated group with the same name and 91 members, none of which have any connection to the Foundation (although its feasible it may be connected to the other Orphanage to the North of the Park).

Derren Le Bretton-Glover-Lives in Jersey (that may be the link to the Bwindi Foundation location on the Website) and reposts a lot of Bobs/Franks posts.

Amy Washington- Listed on their website as the Social Media Head, did fundraising for some of the sponsors to visit in June this year. Other than that she has (ironically) a very small social media presence.

Conclusion

After a couples of hours of digging I can't find any obvious major issues, the main personalities involved appear genuinely altruistic and their political/personal beliefs are diverse enough that there isn't an echo chamber. Irregularities could be explained by human error. Some activities show a lack of safeguarding although that it not enough to warrant a blanket condemnation. My concern would be that two known individuals within the Anti Vax/Common Law cohort would bring the Foundation into the public eye (as it has) and possibly into disrepute.

Ellie mentioned a C section on her recent posts? An long term insta supporter made a point that we are sure she has said she had all natural births in the past.

Does anyone have screenshots please. 🙏🏼

Shes deleted her replies to comments and is letting her followers go at anyone who disagrees with her now.

Also, she’s bought some books. And even nicely positioned a date ornament next to them.

Aaaahhhh! A pile of books next to a convenient calendar block! Clearly hoping people will forget the last pile of books and will be able to divert attention to this one to say but "look at the date", the pile of books was always mine! Lol I want a placed newspaper dated today next to it to! 🤣🤣🤣

I can pile up books too! I've had library books that are probably approaching 2 years in my house (pandemic has allowed me to be lazy in returning them). Didn't read a single one in the end, but they are here, and I have shelves full of actual academic texts as well as novels and biographies. I like reading, but honestly, half my shelf is probably TBR so my pile doesn't mean a thing! I could get a pretty picture for IG to make it look like I'm a particular author's biggest fan, truth be told, I've read half of them. My academic texts, some of them have probably been flicked through or a single chapter needed (including ACTUAL medical law textbooks that I doubt she even knew existed despite them typically being texts used for most Masters in the topic...).

And well, it an impressive collection of fiction works she has there! Homeopathy...🤣🤣🤣 ahhh the good old memory of water!

It was Biba who has touted her 'Natural Birth' whilst high as a kite.

Ellies claimed C Sections for all her kids in the past (2012, 2015 and 2018) and none of her births have been simple. She claimed Hyperesis Gravidarum for all three. Requiring IV anti sickness drugs for the first, IV anti sickess/failing kidneys and requiring heart surgery for the second. Cancer (cured) for the third. Her account of the birth is vague on delivery, and this is the only article where she recommends CBD for babies (in other posts she says its dangerous).

Micro Preemie Defies Odds and Thrives Without Formula or Vaccines (circleofmamas.com)

Looking at the books, there is only one which she recommended to people from before, 'The parents guide to homeopathy - Shelley Keneipp'.

These are the rest of the books she recommended before, which I guess she doesn't now endorse? (or never had in the first place)
Dissolving Illusions - Suzanne Humphries
How to raise a healthy child in spite of your doctor - Robert S. Mendahlson
The Unvaccinated Child - Judith Thompson
Theimerisol, let the science speak - Robert F. Kennedy
Vaccines, automimmunity and the changing nature of childhood illness - Thomas Cowan
Say no to cancer - Patrick Holford
Natural Wellness Journal - Philly Lay

And I do like how she has redefined 'intellect' now she isn't claiming three degrees to validate her opinions.
The thing is, if she is claiming that intuition is rarely wrong, then 99% of people trusting mainstream Dr's and the NHS disproves her position? Or is this another case of it's "Her (as opposed to 'THE') truth"?

I agree with her on that one. Never give CBD oil to a bag.

Bright white pages and uncreased spines? No, she probably returned them to Bezos as soon as she posted the photo and spent the refund on PLT garms hand sewn by her needy African children

I’ve just been taking my old Ma shopping. duck me, 93 years old and can still shop for England. 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈

I was thinking about Liey’s version of the birth of all her children - not that I want to scar my eyeballs for evermore, but I thought I’d return to the piss gate photos, check for section scar. I didn’t spend too much time on it, but I can’t find the Elsybels photos. Wonder if she managed to get them taken down, hence her little come back. Still a bleep.

I noticed that too.

Ellie Grey has previously claimed that she's got three degrees.

Having been proved to be a liar, she's now attempting to wangle her way out of her explicit claims that she has three degrees.

Ellie's bullshit is exactly why scientists and doctors have degrees, and she doesn't have even one.

She clearly doesn't understand the scientific method.

She also doesn't understand the scientific consensus.

For those reasons, that's why she casually dismisses the peer-reviewed data as being either financially corrupt, ethically corrupt, or that it will be "wrong in 10 years time."

Newsflash, Ellie: the theory of gravity is not financially corrupt, nor is it ethically corrupt, nor was it proved "wrong in 10 years time."

That's because the peer-reviewed scientific consensus is able to show that the theory of gravity is 99% certain.

Cue Ellie saying: "Ah, but it's only a THEORY of gravity, and by their own admission, the scientists are only 99% certain."

That's exactly the point, you ignorant bleeping moron.

Ellie and all the other anti-vaxers need to study science for young children, and then continue studying from that starting point.

The fact they have no concept of the Dunning-Kruger graph is infuriating.

This is what Ellie has to say about science, when compared to her "gut instincts":

How many times have you heard ‘Well, you’re not a doctor.’ Or ‘Are you a scientist?’ Or ‘Oh, you’re a google doctor now?’

Intellect isn’t defined by what type of education you have had, where you were schooled or how many degrees you have.

Intellect is about seeing facts and statistics, acknowledging where those facts and statistics came from, checking the conflict of interest from the supplier of those facts and statistics and then making a fully informed choice as to where you go with your new found knowledge.

You can have 3 scientists do the same study and you can get 3 different answers. One could have a financial conflict for needing the outcome of the study to go in one direction, one could have an ethical conflict for needing the study to go in another direction... and one could be documenting the outcome as honestly as they find it, but still be found to be wrong in 10 years time.

So, who do you believe? In these times, I thing the *most* important thing we can trust, is ourselves. Our gut instincts. Our intuition is rarely wrong, if ever. Most parents who question the narrative, have done for years because something didn’t quite sit right with them. Whether it’s the education system, the medical organisation or the way we are told to parent and live our lives... most of us have felt an intuitive reason to find other ways to do things.

I’ve read countless books on health, immunity, nutrition and the mind - I believe these all go hand in hand. Nutrition and mental health are joint just as much as immunity and great health.

Just because you may not have a PhD, it doesn’t mean that you aren’t able to research things, speak up against the ‘professionals’ and trust yourself!

All eleven of them, because the photo which she previously posted of a pile anti-vax books, to trick her followers into believing that she really does have three degrees, was someone else's photo which she'd found on Google.

The new photo of eleven books proves that she's read very little.

Unless you want to post a DATED photo of your ENTIRE library, Ellie.

Until you do that, we'll continue to presume that the only reading you've done is skim-reading anti-vax websites, and ignoring the peer-reviewed scientific consensus, because they've all been paid off by big pharma, right?

Exactly.

All eleven of her books are in mint condition.

NOT EVEN ONE cracked spine.

She's incapable of speaking the truth.

The truth of you is in your name elLIE

Apparently, if Liey had found an organisation worthy of her cash, she’d have supported them. Didn’t look for did she. bleep.
Clearly Ellie has never heard of the NSPCC, or Barnardo's, or Save the Children, or any of the other HUNDREDS of UK childrens' charities.

She's incapable of speaking the truth

I love the fact that she's still trying to suggest that your bog standard doctor and scientist have all this conflicts of interest and are being paid by all these baddies, despite most of them not and not realising that her own argument about it and being informed is hypocritical given that most of her 'truth' and info she is sourcing is the stuff coming from people with vested interests and much more money to gain.

Your standard NHS doctors don't have any true relationships with drug companies. There is no brilliant incentives to prescribe their meds. NICE and commissioning groups decide based on data and cost effectiveness what branded meds we can prescribe and then the minute the patent is dead and generics are allowed to be produced we have to switch to the cheap generics, and well the branded med either drops to a similar price or it stops being used unless generics cannot be sourced at all...there are a few exceptions like the insulins typically are prescribed by brand, usually if someone with epilepsy is started on specific branded meds they are kept on them as sometimes the differing fillers seem to affect absorption and the differing levels of meds can trigger seizures, and that is a risk when you just prescribe by drug name and not specific brand name as often patients may get a different brand every time they collect a new prescription as we allow pharmacies to source whichever generic they can to fulfill prescriptions when not specific (although not all patients or epilepsy meds).

Once upon a time there possibly was more competition and encouraging from drug companies, but seriously the most we have been offered for years now is typically a soggy sandwich they've brought whilst we have to listen to them ramble on about their drug knowing all the time that unless higher ups believe it is cost effective we won't be getting to prescribe it anyway. And it doesn't matter if they've gone all out and brought us sandwiches from M&S or they are the cheap ones grabbing reductions in Tesco. I think this lot thunk medics are being taken on holidays, golfing and getting back handers from drug companies! Doesn't happen in the UK...I don't even remember the last time I got Percy Pigs from them!

Yet the people she is taking information from likely do have financial interests in making them go against science based health care

Talking of vested interests. This article on Sherri Tenpenny, one of the 'misinformation dirty dozen' is pretty damning.

How Anti-Vaxxer Sherri Tenpenny Fuels Pandemic, Makes Money (businessinsider.com)

One juicy excerpt: "In a June 2021 report on the Disinformation Dozen, titled "Pandemic Profiteers," the CCDH estimated that Tenpenny earned up to $353,925 from a single webinar titled "How Covid-19 Injections Can Make You Sick ... Even Kill You."

Now, if every one of those twelve is earning anything like she is, how any of them can keep a straight face when they repeat their claims is beyond me.
