Poor Derek. I think it's just a rumour as he always has that look about him.

We found an old FB of Derek's a while back and he had just moved in - he had no carperts and very little furniture, the poor soul put a christmas tree up and he looked proud as punch. It brought a tear to the most hardened of us. Derek moved into the flat a good year or so before the gobeshite came on the scene, he put all his money into getting everything he needed he did so well and was do proud of his achievement of making his first house a home. Bless him.

Now don't get me started about what gobeshite said about the carpets Derek put down

He said that they were just cheap shite that got put down when “they” (actually Derek by himself) moved in. Maz definitely specialises in rewriting history to suit his (nonsensical) narrative. I don’t believe for a minute that he is on the tenancy agreement

I feel sad reading this as, what I know and see of Derek, he seems sweet and like a lovely fella.

He must be okay with Mario taking over as he'd put his foot down, surely? And he must love him as they do seem quite happy in their videos, but who knows? I'd hate to think Derek is settling or feeling like he's being taken advantage of and is trapped because I don't think he'd have trouble finding someone else if they split, tbh. #FreeDerek
