In a flog I remember Oliver Strong telling SJ that whilst on an airplane a passenger was watching CD. He struck up a conversation with this person only to find out that their family owns Mount Gay rum in Barbados. I clearly remember because this is my go to for rum. Great rum, wonderful island, terrible weather this time of the year.

Since the death of Ward's son in 1989 Mount Gay has been majority-owned by the French Rémy Cointreau Group but the Ward and Hudson families (John F. Hudson was Aubrey Ward's business partner) retain a 40% interest in the aging and bottling business.

I had a very quick FF through tonight's vlog. What on earth is Hanni on? She's certainly come to life and couldn't wait to put her pennyworth in. I notice she is now also wearing a ring on her wedding finger - still channeling Sj with the ring and shirt dress (maybe a belted nightdress?)
No wonder the cousin sat back - he must have wondered why he'd been persuaded to come.

Quite enjoyed tonight's Cadeaux at the Chateau. Those gifts were so meaningful and lovely! All befitting the princess of Lalande!

OK So I have a confession. My life has been quite unusual and interesting so I e mailed Marie and asked her if she would be interested in my success story. She said she would and we arranged an interview. So in brief, my life story is: I joined a nunnery at 19 where I remained until I was 33 during which time I fell in love with an Abbot from the local monastery. We left our previous lives and married. Then he died in mysterious circumstances and I was accused of his murder, so I was back in the cell, so to speak. My innocence was proved by my tireless investigations two years later and I was released back into the arms of my children. I went on to write a bestseller, which was made into a film and with the money I started up a company who struck oil and I live a life of privilege. Now, I have just received the fully edited interview, a transcript, in its entirety and will give you a preview here - as it is just between us:
Marie: I would like to introduce you to my dearest friend, Inven Tion. He he hee! Now you have had a really interesting life and are very successful aren't you?
Me: Yes

This is the designers guild wallpaper that SJ has already purchased for the unfinished loo. It was presented during the hair curling live Q & A. How the hell is that going work??? Don't forget she said, she would be installing it. What could go wrong????

I posted this after SJ's and BJJ's Q&A. What could go wrong??? Well, now we know... EVERYTHING. At least the over spray of urine from the men at the chateau will blend in with the busy mural.

Wall paper in a small loo with a big design a fail - wall paper in a loo - full stop - bad idea...Fanny putting the wall paper up - she is really taking the piss.

Well, credit where it's due. She is consistent and updates are given regularly. She doesn't treat her Patrons like Trotter does.
Whatever proves to be right or wrong regarding finances, or how it's done...at least there is some progress.

So after that super positive post, I am going for a lie down.

In Australia we call that "a bex (asprin) and a lie down" - LOL - you are right - however the chips fall for Fanny and her money will be a time thing. Never have I heard her cry as Tea Begs has and that is the difference. He can cry "she gets a holiday and no one calls her out on funds" well...that is because she didn't reveal the funds are dry and send more. Big difference. I think he is in a strange place of watching someone he encouraged doing better. Considering he already has a mindset of those who have ripped him off. He needs to step over this and step up to keep anything he gained in the first place.

I had to keep taking a break, I was interested in the tour and artifacts but that horrid dress she was wearing was fighting with everything and I could not manage more than 10 min at a time. Philip do us a favor and throw that dress in the trash.

Or Snorts can wear it next time being behind the camera and Fanny can snort.

When Snorts wants to cuddle with SJ , he snorts once.
When he wants to suck face with Fanny's wrinkled face , he snorts twice .
When they finally have what could be construed as a sexually encounter., Snorts snorts SO much that Fanny needs a tissue wether on top or bottom.

But when Snorts looks at.....EBAY cutlery porn...he snorts to such an extreme he becomes like a squealing pig!!!!

And THAT is why Nutti moved to a different servants bedroom.

I also hope someone gets a hold of that poodles hair and just shaves it off. Wouldn't that be something to see? Hopefully it would look atrocious, but you never know...it might bring out the extreme enormity of his nostrils that could inhale a 747? Right?

Sunday vlog watching for me was Nicky Positano, her stuff is pretty much the same all the time, but she has Positano and its beauty, so it's hard to not enjoy it! And I have a crush on Carlo .... I think he's hot!! (don't throw stones!) The Flueries I always enjoy. I love their clean fresh interiors, and their relationship, Anna's creativity, Philip's humor. I watch Dan, even though it's the same types of things, I enjoy it, and it is quick and creatively done. I also watched Billy .... just because I had nothing to do, and it was a very subdued Billy doing it with Alexander. There were some interesting antiques, but mostly it was quite dull. At least he doesn't grift directly from his YouTube, and he wasn't all smug and know it all today .... not sure he was sincere, but he actually said something like he's not always right, or doesn't know everything. And I watched CD. I fine Ivo mind blowingly fascinating and his castle and the history. I don't understand how a private person can have some of the artifacts he has and agree with my fellow Canadian's comment that a lot of those items belong to their country of origin. Unlike others here, I watch CD for the restoration and renos at Lalande, and for the tours of other chateaux. The parties and travel stuff are big zeros for me. I think I'd have to feel like a big zero to enjoy watching other people party! And that was my take on the day.

my goodness they tear down Lalande on Tatler life..do they have nothing better to do than pick faults and tear people down? Is there jealousy or is that all life is to them..most of us take Lalande as it comes..them trying to spread positivity in the world..it really is noones business how they spend their money or them oohing and ahiing over presents..volunteers are there to work not have a holiday..they know that and it hasnt stopped people returning to work..I love this vlog it has been a bright spot in covid times..love to all xxxx
