The whole Carrie and Ivano thing is simply her attention seeking.

However, as ALW said they work in the service industry, if a couple of waiters or supermarket workers started doing that you would be like WTF

Of course it is. I have never seen/heard of it happening when he's on with Georgina. And yet it's Georgina he hangs out with outside of the theatre, I have only ever seen Ivano socialise with Carrie for the WOS thing. So that tells me it's all her driving it for a 'look at me'.

Don’t kids go and see the show? I would be really distracted by dry humping in the wings!
Yep, kids go - although in fairness (?) the show does contain a lot of dirty jokes and double-entendres. Remember all the fuss about changes made to "improve" the show and one of them was that in the new version we actually get to see Cinderella draw a penis on the statue?

She's leaving Cinderella in a few months and will have a new job and new leading man that she'll be all over, at least give it a rest until then

Sorry if the conversation has moved on, but on the Carrie/Alex Day thing - whilst I think that what she went through was horrible, I struggle to say that it was ‘trauma’. Especially compared to Alex Day’s victims. My view on this is further constrained by the fact that, when one of Alex’s victims (and I think, a friend of Carrie’s) messaged her about their trauma, she bullied them instead of empathising.

To be fair to Carrie that was before she knew that Alex was manipulating people. She though her friend and Alex were cheating behind her back, and Carrie admitted to apologising to the friend when she found out what actually happened.
in regards to the ‘trauma’, none of us can say what Carrie felt when she learned what her boyfriend was doing behind her back. Trauma may be too strong a word for what she went through but she did still find out that her boyfriend was sexually abusing her friends and his fans. I can’t imagine what that would feel like!

Went to see Wicked tonight. Was blown away. Carrie could NEVER.
(Also heard people in the row behind talking about other shows to see and heard “I’ll skip Cinderella. It’s meant to be tit.”)

Do people still behave that way with their friends when they're almost 30?
They do if they want to make their ex jealous

Or "look Oliver, I'm having fun without you!!"
It seems very unprofessional to me to mess around with a co-worker in the wings when the audience can see you. When I studied Drama that was always a big no-no
But she didn’t go to drama school did she so that level of discipline would’ve passed her right by. Let’s hope the boss doesn’t read these posts

Yeah the double entendres would go right over their little heads.
Seeing two adults (you’ve just seen as Cinderella and the Prince) dry hump in the wings not quite the same.
Inappropriate and deeply unprofessional.
They both KNOW they can be seen which makes it worse

Every time I read "dry humping" I don't know if I wanna laugh, cry or throw up. 😂

Can someone explain why they don’t have access to makeup artists? At the west end ? Is it because of covid ? The eyeshadow 🙈

Yeah I dated a guy who was a manipulative cheating creep, not Alex Day levels, but broadly speaking would likely be under the same umbrella…and it fucked with my head for a long time. Probably still has left some lasting impact and hit my ability to trust people a bit but I think “trauma” is a bit too strong.

Im sure Carrie did face some emotional pain from it but trauma would be for his victims

To save money I think, I'm sure Carrie mentioned it whilst she was in Addams
Never been a fan of the eyeshadow either

It’s mind blowing like costumes and makeup are surely an intrinsic feature of it 🙃
