Caroline Hirons #29 Not an influencer? What a load of (overpriced) flannel!

I've been at an Expert Witness conference all day today. Experts in, I'd estimate, at least 100 professional disciplines. Hirons and her sidekick would be accepted into none of them.

Trinny's packaging: sleek, airtight, looks great on the shelf

The Oaf's packaging: basic, boring, fingers in pots (yuk)

Trinny's products: sophisticated formulas, lots of actives, joyful to use

The Oaf's products: basic formulas, cheap ingredients, nowt to write home about

Trinny's brand: globally successful - recognised by her first name alone

The Oaf's brand: pretty much supported only by freaks who follow her blindly, begging for her approval and terrified of pissing her off, however inadvertently

Trinny's personality: warm, fun, supportive, uplifting

The Oaf's personality: rude, thuggish, shouty, bullying

Can Hirons really believe she is Trinny's equal, on any level?

I’d love to be a fly on the wall in the SR office today, I bet some of them are currently scrolling this thread .

I think the SR crew are pretty much signed up cult members mostly. If anything CH appears to be influenced by "generation tiktok."

I can't find the microneedling live in the videos, but I come across Caroline's 'tweakments' section, in which she name checks the same alice-woman that Trinny does in the live and in her book, both saying she is the tweakments guru. So they were seeing the same specialist....neither of them should be selling skincare, as clearly neither of them are actually relying on that crap to do anything more than take their makeup off.

For what it's worth, I would go with Trinny being more knowledgeable about what will sort your skin out, as she's in the circle who will have gone to all the secret specialists. Caroline just stood behind a counter and sold whatever she was told to.

Ye she's probably been waiting a long time to find fault in Trinny's brand. I remember when Trinny's first cleanser came out and (under pressure from the freaks) she eventually reviewed it and said it smelled like roast chicken. Charming

I'm sure she had Covid when she said that but didn't acknowledge that that may have affected her sense of smell. Nope. This cleanser smells of chicken because OF COURSE it does.

She's a knob. Simples.

I started watching it… and I also need to add that when I got my terrible acne I found hirons blog and at that time she was using acids once to 2x a day.! If she wants to talk about inflammation that was it for me! Her advice completely put me in a spiral and now she is on the live saying she is worried for the people who get inflammation and ruin their skin. Hirons ruined my skin with her bad advice. So she should not be pretending to be concerned for these people who use it and get ruined barriers.

She is a witch. End of

It’s never a pleasant watch, you know uplifting, joyous…… plus someone has told her about the shouting as she’s mentioned that too. You're right - she did keep interrupting her.
Kept fiddling with her hair, sniffing and saying 'right sorry I just have to say this...' to talk about something irrelevant as Kirsten was mid sentence.
Plus the bloody fidgeting and gulping tea from her mug.

I just watched the first chunk of the live again and Nellie shouting that they’ll be no personal bashing of Trinny in the comments and Nellie goes in with the sly digs and the “expert” goes full on mean girls. The comments like “Trinny is allowed to sell this to anyone with no clue” is so déclassé.

On Instagram in her comments I got the “this comment is hidden because it may be inaccurate, etc” message.
I opened said comment. “Your skin is glowing.”
Even the Instagram bots are calling out that was inaccurate!
