My joiner/builder husband started fitting our new (Howdens!) kitchen (just in evenings and at weekends) the week between Christmas and new year. It’s been hours and hours of wiring, plastering, tiling, painting, fitting cupboards, oiling worktops… and we STILL haven’t got our dining table pendant up, and the wire for the heat detector is dangling… but OH EM GEE am SO I grateful that, despite the time it’s taken, every single tiny detail has been considered, and it looks a million bucks compared to that tit show.

You tell the howdens person what you want and they just design as you tell them. She went for the flat packed kitchen so it was definitely her builders that built the tower unit upside down. Idiots.

My sisters howdens kitchen is amazing! They had to wait for over 10 months to have their kitchen and extension done cos the builders were that busy!
Howdens have a really good reputation & their quality is fantastic. It’s those bloody clowns she’s employed to fit it!! I’d not be shocked if this is their first time fitting a kitchen.
