ALdies going to be creaming himself with all this publicity. Perhaps he can dwop a future self tracksuit with vibrators on. But it irks me that anyone might think Zoella is a feminist, women supporting boss woman. She’s a fake lazy witch.

at least she isnt backing on this scandal like previous ones sex and pleasure should be normalised with women wanting to do it and if parents actually talked to their kids they would probably find they know about sex and if any of them have learnt about it from watching porn then you need talk to them that sex isnt always like the porn your watching you can stds, get pregnant etc one thing i find annoying is like the Radford family their 18 year old knew how you got pregnant but still had unprotected sex cause she didn't think getting pregnant would happen to her but it did but its not just about sex results in pregnancy its protection that can help stop you getting stds

I think she THINKS she believes these things (feminism and empowerment). And I think she would like to be a force for the good. I really do. And I don’t think she’s doing any harm at the moment...
But I feel she isn’t driven enough, educated enough or, bluntly, smart enough to do her causes justice.
It will be interesting to see what she does with this new platform!

The sad thing is she's giving this whole thing way more attention than she ever gave her more serious scandals like oh, I don't know, that time she shouted 'alfie get off me' out of the window and then laughed..

And that grid post? God she pisses me off no end. Her priorities are way off 🤦🏼‍♀️

On a slightly different note how nice to be talking about something other than her weird boyfriend and if she’s pregnant!

That new grid post is the most smug thing ever. She’s loving everyone backing her up so she’s running with it. First time anyone’s paid attention to her in ages so she’s bleeping flying high.

Mmm reading your comments and thinking it through, I kinda changed my mind

I still am kinda glad and surprised that she’s been very vocal today and showed a stronger part of her character,
But I guess what really triggered her, it’s not the whole article situation, but the fact she’s been referred to as Zoella, once again

she really despise that character and despite failing to get rid of it during these years, she is been trying everything she could to distance herself from her zoella alter ego

She's more mad about them having "dropped her" (Princess Peahead doesn't even understand what this means in this context) than anything else.
Plus she’s completely contradicting herself. On the one hand saying her audience and content is for 25-35 year olds and that’s why they’re talking about mature topics, then the next saying that of course masturbation is an acceptable topic for a 16 year old (not saying it isn’t btw, but she’s basically stepping on her own point)

I honestly think you guys are giving her way too much credit by saying you’re pleased with how she is dealing with the issue. She is using the subject as an excuse to rant because she’s been dropped and they published that unflattering photo of her on the front page.

Yes women have been masterbating since the beginning of time, it’s not a secret and you can buy vibrators of all shapes and sizes in B&M right now. Zoe didn’t write the article on her blog, I’d be surprised if she owns a vibrator, although it would be far too much like exercise for her if she did it old school so maybe the world’s smallest vib for the teeny tiny human?

I would love t if the follow up story was actually from the parents who complained 😂

The rage about being calledZoella is still burning 😁

Plus as a first thing she said that she herself didn't review the vibrators, the Zoella team did. To me it sounded like "I didn't do this, my friends did, I'm clean!!!" As if it was too shameful for her if the vibrators had been reviewed just by her!

She puts NOTHING into the Zoella website, that’s what her annoying little team are for! She just takes the credit and the £££ from the affiliate links

I have literally no problem with her content, the problem is GCSE isn’t just 16 year olds. The younger students start GCSE’s at 14.
it’s the exam boards fault. I’m also 30 and wouldn’t read her site, she seems very much mistaken on her target market.
The comments made by her and some of her team are really quite silly, they are missing the point that the exam boards were exposing children under the legal age of consent, it’s not a “1950’s oppression” etc etc

And as she said, they didn’t even review them - which might have been genuinely interesting and informative. All they did was post some marketing spiel about each one - well how is that adding any value when you could just go to Love Honey and see the same sort of info - actually more useful because I think people post user reviews on there!

So ‘mature’ enough to post about sex toys, but not so much that they’d actually use them and write about a real experience 🤷‍♀️

She’s definitely trying to distance herself from the idea that she tried them personally - which is completely against her point of normalising female masturbation.
