That’s mad, I was married a few months angk and our guests were really generous . We are Irish so money is the norm, we didn’t receive any gifts other than frames etc along side money from family.
However, we have ordered (was waiting for photos back) wildflower seed thank you cards , and photos of the guests to enclose with them to show our appreciation. Immediately after the wedding we text each guest to thank them.
The same way I couldn’t imagine not providing a gift or card, I couldn’t imagine not thanking my guests. Terrible behaviour.
A friend of mine is South African but lived most of her life in Ireland having moved in her early 20s. Her sister did too but later moved to the UK. When my friend's nephew got married the wedding was mainly Irish and UK guests. My friend said before they even read the card that they could tell whether the guest was from Ireland or the UK just by the amount of money in the card. With the Irish always being more generous. She said some UK guest put coins in the card.

Email junk is only if I’m truly annoyed and does feel so much more invasive, having to delete and block everything. He’s usually always at work so I wouldn’t bother with phone calls.
I always think the post wouldn’t annoy me as I’d just throw it out but also for environmental reasons it’s not good 😂

This case is deeply unpleasant to hear about: a couple ended up being stalked by eBay employees at the behest of its CEO. But it's a freakin masterclass in pettiness. Sending wreaths and boxes of cockroaches, putting their address online as a swinging hotspot. Yikes!!

I’d long distance date you for £500 a month 😂 Honestly these people feel no shame.
Maybe say ok, but can he send you £100 first so you know it’s legit. If he does it then I would block him
Well damn. That’s such a good idea!

After the invoices etc I’d be like look I’m gonna call PayPal and find out what’s happening. Then tell him “don’t worry I’ve called PayPal and they’re looking into it. They said they’ll refer it to their fraud team and they’ll call your bank too. All standard procedure so you should have the money soon”.. something along them lines. Really shake him up that piece of shit. Bet you aren’t the first he’s done it to.
Perfect 😅

I once read about a woman (don’t know if it’s true) whose boyfriend cheated on her and when she moved out of their flat she left the contents of a packet of prawns hidden. The place stank after a while and he kept asking her if she knew what it was. He tore the place apart and couldn’t find the cause. I can’t remember what happened, I think he moved out himself but I just remember that she’d hidden them in the hollow curtain pole.
I've heard this same story too! 🤣

Well, I’ve just ordered a big ass poster on how to treat chlamydia for the twat :ROFLMAO: It was free, which makes it even better.
Would be fun to take it further like sending flowers with messages like "thinking of you. Thanks for last night xxx".

Order new underwear to be posted.

Not the pettiest thing I have ever done but it is petty. We have an event in work tomorrow where we are expected to bring in home baked goods.

So i put myself in a call with just myself as an attendee for an hour and did my baking. My evenings are busy and I didnt want to give up my plans to bake for work.
that's a great idea baking on their time not yours. How cheeky of them to expect home-baked goods though.

Eh absolutely, why do unpaid work in your free time!

Also, what happens if someone can't bake? 😅

There a girl in my gym who carrying on with a married man it’s the hot topic in the gym after they were seen getting jiggy with it in the car park! She always using this ankle thing to do kickbacks on one of the machines, and he will be stood close having a good perv! It makes me sick to be honest as he likes everyone to think he’s mr family guy! Anyway I’m in the gym and there she is doing her kickbacks and he’s having a good luck so when she finished I went over bent down and took the black strap she uses to do them! 😂 it’s in my car and every-time I look at it I laugh because she can’t do them in the gym anymore!
Love it 😂

I also told my sister today to push back on doing extra work at home, and to ask if she would be compensated for it. If not then- to say she would get the task done whilst at work.
---
I would also not bake at home either, unless it was something I wanted to do.

In the woman’s defence, it does look like he got pretty in her face from the look of the photos. But you know what, working in retail, I forgive him 😂
Yeah deffo looks like he was shouting at her . I’d have probably made up a lie about him and posted that everywhere, or got him fired rather than mock his grandad being elderly or sick.
