Everyone harps on about breastfeeding 'stigma' but I got so much grief and judgement for choosing to bottle feed! Might have to start my own #normaliseformula movement haha.

I absolutely cannot bear women who bang on and on about doing everything pregnancy/birth related 'naturally'. If you didn't have any pain relief/ interventions and you breastfeed then great but I personally do not think any more of you than a woman who chose an elective c section and doesn't want to breastfeed. One of the things that has always put me off having kids is the way your body and the choices you make about it in that context seemingly become a matter of public opinion and the worst part is it's other mothers who seem the most judgemental about that kind of thing 😶

One thing I can’t stand about breastfeeding Mums especially celebs are the selfies. Like Ashley graham

it’s not that I’m disgusted. It’s not that I’m jealous. I just don’t care. Why do we need to see it. Even the average person especially on some of those Mummy pages on FB, they’ll take a pic of their baby breastfeeding from them and the Mum is pouting in the camera. I’m just not arsed

You see so many influencers documenting having a baby. And on tik tok posts show me a picture of your baby born then a picture now!! Like it’s your baby and you love it but who the f cares? So people think everyone wants to see random babies.

I always covered up when I breastfed in public, because I felt more comfortable that way. I had 2 friends in particular who used to go on the entire time I was feeding about how I shouldn't cover up to keep others happy, or I should stop hiding behind a cover, blah blah blah. It wasn't for anyone else's comfort, purely my own.

Yeah and especially on social media, all sorts of unsavoury people could get hold of those pictures 😩 might as well just hand your kid over to someone in the street!

It’s probably just my ADHD talking but movies these days are far too long and halfway through a film I do be thinking “am I really even going to bother?”

Not every film needs to be over two hours! I will audibly groan when I go to the cinema and find out a movie I’m going to watch is 2hrs and 30 mins.

Bring back films that are 80-90 mins!

I don’t understand people who watch films in the evening, like sitting down at 9pm to watch a film that finishes 11pm. It feels too late to me😆

I regularly start watching films at 11pm….!
Living life on the edge, Betty you rebel.

(I can’t get my head around it though. It hits that time and the little old lady that is obviously in charge of my body is like, ‘bed now’. I could sit up on tiktok or tattle for hours but watching a film, nah hun!)

I think it's Amazon prime that have a section of 90 minute movies.

I totally agree with you about films being just too long. I saw Elvis the other night and for the most part loved it but thought I'd have enjoyed it if it had been 20 minutes or so shorter. I started getting restless. The same with Once Upon A Time in Hollywood and The Irishman. Turned into boring bollocks because the director treated it as a vanity project. Long running times actually put me off watching plus I most definitely will not be going to the cinema to watch them if they're that long.

Why do we not get the same outrageous indignation when girls pop their boobs out for money or to sunbathe etc?

I have no filling in this sandwich, I BF some of mine and FF the others or a mix of both in the days when bottle feeding was the thing to do..

I have no problem with either. I don't really care for women who do porn or lads mags but they don't seem to me to get as much stick as BF photos.

Because one of them is for money, the other is for a purpose (to tan the boobs). The breastfeeding photos are pointless

For me its how sanctimonious they come across when posting BF photos, i also don’t agree with boobs on show for whatever reason, its all done in the name of ‘empowerment’ or whatever but in both cases its just a case of posting a photo for validation for some reason.
