Unjaded Jade #14 she's not like other gorls

They fizzle out because their content and following was about studying and going through GCSEs, A Levels, University etc. They've all reached the end of that now so their relevance to that market is gone. Eve Bennett bless her was clearly the most intelligent and genuine of the lot of them and she had the ability to recognise that and move on. I genuinely like her and am really pleased for her that she seems to have started on a proper career which is not what you can say for the rest of these study tube losers like Jade, Ruby Granger, Eve Cornwell etc.
Eve Bennett was probably the least liked out of all of them because she can come off a bit caustic at times, but Eve Cornwell was actually doing pretty well Youtube-wise post-undergrad and even after she quit law. I think what made her channel unpopular was leaning too far into stereotypes and tropes. For example, I have absolutely no issue with Eve Cornwell being queer, but for a while there she made it her entire personality which was a turn-off because her content didn't used to be about her wearing pants and making it out to be some kind of badge of honor. Most women wear pants regardless of their sexual orientation. It's not the 1900s. If she had talked about actual problems in the queer community I wouldn't have even batted an eye, but linking her outfit choices to her sexuality was very shallow and really only hurts the LGBTQ community because people already think they can make assumptions about strangers' sexualities based on their attire.

Furthermore, I was supportive of Eve Cornwell's initial change in career, but as someone actually in stem it was getting annoying hearing her describe herself as a women in stem when she didn't even understand the software her team was working on. It's somewhat common to have non stem managers for stem jobs, especially in tech because a lot of software engineers, for example, enjoy their current jobs and would not want to manage a team of people instead of actually programming, but it doesn't make it any less exasperating to see it first hand.

Everything you say about Eve Cornwell is correct but I can't get on board with your view that Eve Bennett was the least liked out of them all. Have a look at her thread she gets pretty much universal praise for being down to earth and just a generally lovely girl.

Yes nowadays, but back in their uni days I remember Eve Bennett getting a lot of hate because she had a very different personality than all the other top female studytubers.

edit: I think as the original fanbase of studytube grew up we started to see them for who they really were instead of what they claimed to be. For example, being able to see that Jade is extremely privileged despite her best efforts to try to "other" and victimize herself. A lot of us are the same age as Jade, Eve, and Jack Edwards and the aesthetic of studytubers drew us in rather than the realness that Eve Bennett has that we've now come to appreciate.

The reason I enjoyed Eve Bennett far more than the other Studytubers mentioned was because she actually felt like a normal person.

Jade had to go to a “special” university with the cringeworthy casual magic, Ruby still acts like a child and just isn’t relatable, and Eve Cornwell struck me as very unauthentic; the kind of person who would be nice to your face and criticise you endlessly behind your back. I think Holly Gabrielle means well, but she’s got a lot of deep rooted issues.

Eve was a regular girl, who went to a traditional university. She socialised, had a circle of friends, went travelling, got herself a boyfriend, and now has a traditional job. People can relate to that, and she was self-aware/vulnerable. The others are caricatures of themselves at this stage.

A video has just come up from her on my fyp saying she’s moving into a flat in London... Wasn’t it only a few months ago that she was digital nomading it up in Portugal?

I feel like I’ve missed a few chapters.

Yes, her 'job' in Portugal turned out to be just some sort of brief holiday there. Either that or she was quickly found out and moved on which wouldn't surprise me. Since then she has been searching for a flat share in London and of course she has been applying her very special brand of cuntish entitlement to the whole process.

So Jade has just had "the toughest week last week" and she felt like "the roots of her life have crumbled". What happened you may ask? Her flight got delayed and she had food poisoning. That's all. There's people dying Kim.

I bet she quit whatever her job apparently is, or decided not to move to London and pissed off her potential flatmates?
Talking about the overbooking flight thing as if its specific for Qatar Airlines 🙄 literally every airline overlooks flights. Also I know someone who did this flight recently with qatar , they flew to the middle east and stopped over there as it was cheaper than the alternative. Typically sustainable Jade

The way she was smiling as she was talking about her worst week…. Like okay? I wouldn’t be smiling like that if something was making me cry every day. And then that moaning noise she made WHY

She bought this all on herself? Like if she really was the SUSTAINABLE QWEEN she thinks she is, she would not be going to Portugal to London to Cape Town to London again within the span of like 2 months and getting food poisoning and delayed flights and whatever else she's complaining about..

"I feel very human"  are you...not?
