Yes they've replaced the slurping with a boingy-twangy noise.

The agency must have been deluged with complaints if they were obliged to withdraw the ad and change the soundtrack :ROFLMAO:

On The Beach. If the obnoxious family on the advert are the type of clientele this company attract then I for one won't be booking with them.

I’m so glad everyone else hates the Nationwide poetry/monologue adverts. The most cringe piece of TV advertising ever. Especially the ‘message to myself in 6 months’...those aged well didn’t they 🥴
On a separate note does anyone remember those GoCompare adverts where Sue Barker was dressed up as a ninja and was trying to shoot the GoCompare man? That was random 😂

I can't stand the Just Eat advert with those posers screeching pseudo opera arias and rapping, dressed in period costumes. Christine Aguilera is one of them I think.

The new Nintendo switch ad
poor younger sister ignored by older sister so mum suggests she plays on her switch 👀 then cool older sister comes in from skateboarding and asks to join her 👀👀 then they are best friends to the point she says “ you can come skateboarding with me next time”
granny comes over
granny and mum gaze lovingly at the sisters bonding then granny turns out to be a Nintendo switch expert as they all sit on the sofa playing

bollocks

The one for pee pads with the woman sitting on the bog when she takes the vase of flowers off the windowsill then empties the water onto the pad!
Ugh there’s another poorly acted one where the woman wants to go to a gig but can’t do it in her ‘pee pants’. Then she tries the new brand and you see her sitting on a man’s shoulder, presumably piddling her pants while watching the show.

I hate that those ads try to normalise leaks. Yeah we shouldn’t be ashamed if it happens, but if it’s a regular thing you need to see a doctor.

Verisure again!
Three young men seettling down to watch the footie on telly. Two chime-in about their brilliant Verisure alarms and How Safe They Feel just switching them on which instantly makes the third completely paranoid that he DOES NOT HAVE ONE and "Should I get one too?"
"Yes!" the other trill in unison.
FFS :mad::poop:
Can I just add about the amount of adverts now in the breaks? Yesterday we counted SIX! All were funeral plans, life assurance, recliner chairs, mobility scooters and pleas from UNICEF and Water Aid. The programmes these days are shorter that the ad breaks, ie the 35 year old repeats are just there to pad-out the adverts :(

I don't know why companies think celebs advertising products like that makes anyone 2ant to buy them, if anything I think like you. Waste of their advertising money which we are then paying for, would rather buy something cheaper

Andrex - reported it as watching a lady fart and walk to toilet is not a way to increase toilet paper sales!! Unfortunately ASA dont agree and thinks it's all in good humour as we all fart!! Well I don't at work. 😉

The new Halifax ad with the full version of "Stand By Me" by Oasis. Just when I thought they'd stopped showing the bench one with the awful acoustic version of it. I hate how banks ads make out that they're your friend.

We Buy Any Car using the Nightcrawlers "Push the Feeling On"

My Spotify subscription has expired, so I'm now getting ads on there. There's a really patronising one about the pronunciation of Hyundai cars. Note to companies: Never lecture the consumer.

In the US you get Viagra and incontinence products advertised.
I was genuinely shocked that they advertise prescription drugs on American TV, and actually encourage you to ask your doctor for certain drugs!

The adverts are hilarious though. It's always a soothing voice going on about the new miracle drug for migraines/cancer/schizophrenia, and images of happy people arranging flowers and playing with their grandkids. The happy imagines continue while they read out a list of utterly horrific side effects. "You may be at increased risk of suicide. You may suffer hair loss, shortness of breath, or bleeding from your anus..."

And then the next advert will be for a law firm "if you've been affected by drug X, call us today and sue."

America is awesome.

The one where Eva Longoria mouths hylouronic acid at the screen as if people are stupid. She’s the stupid one for thinking we believe she actually uses L’Oréal skincare.

The Tinder ad, where Miss Lip Fillers moves to a new city and feels lonely, so goes out and shags a load of people. Surely there are better ways to make friends?

Not sure if this one has been mentioned... jet2 ad is so annoying! I hate Jess Glynn’s voice and that ad grates on me.
