The funniest thing is that in that article about her cancer she said that she is doing the vlogs to 'raise awareness' which is a load of bollocks. She is misinforming and misleading everyone, is slandering her doctors and hospital and is raising everyone's blood pressure. Noone in their right mind would look for information and edcuation on her channel. Also, recently she has been saying that the vlogs are actually her private diaries, they are for her. She is doing the vlogs for herself She just spews crap.

Examples:
" I don't like people seeing my wires and my port" = Simple solution to that. Wear long sleeved tops. NOT a vest or a shoulder strap dress.
" I didn't feel up to doing a video but I keep getting messages from my viewers asking where the next video is" = I'd love to see those messages because I don't believe even one exists. Imagine sending a so called very sick patient a message wanting to know where the next video is? Seriously?!
" I feel alone, cancer makes me feel so lonely" = Next breathe " I am always getting invited places by family and friends and I feel so bad letting people down"
" I want to drive but I don't know if I can? I will have to ask my doctor the next time I see him" = Oncologists want patients to have a good quality of life. There is no reason why Tiffany needs to be chauffeured everywhere.
"I'm so tired and I am in so much pain. I could barely walk from the car to the hospital"= Myself and many many other concerned subscribers advised Tiffany to pop into Maggies or the Macmillan centre or to request a blue badge from her local council. Amma or Matt could park in a disabled bay right by the entrance. In a later video Tiffany let it slip that she knew there was a Maggies support centre, but she was too tired to go and had decided to go see her Aunt & uncle instead.
I could go on and on. I won't, but I could.

Exactly!! That's what I've been thinking; Not a word in her vlogs about this, and it must be a problem for sure.

@ChitChai before you go jumping to Tiffanys defense, take a think.
You keep pointing out Tiffany as cancer and say you hope others don't get cancer.

My husband is a stage 4 cancer patient. RCC (Kidney cancer). He was advanced at diagnosis aged 28. He was incurable at 28. None of us need a cancer diagnosis to change our opinions.

I had a lot of empathy for Tiffany and her family for a long while. I know what it is like to live between scans, to experience scan anxiety and live with uncertainty, not being able to plan ahead. I could go on and on, but I won't.
Where I do draw the line and start questioning is when I see Tiffany not giving two hoots about those she has sucked in.
Example:
" hello my tiffany thinks family, what would you do? Would you have surgery or defer surgery"?
a few days later
" Look its my life. If you don't like my decisions then tough tittie, stop watching my channel"
She tit on people that cared about her. She doesn't care that people have worried themselves sick about her.

And lastly. Cancer awareness is important. I would love nothing more for a cure to be found for this terrible disease.
Tiffany writing 'cancer' in every one of her video titles is not raising awareness when the content is her tasting juices and playing "mummy how much would you pay?" She adds cancer because cancer peeks an interest. It brings in money for Tiffany.

Not to mention how badly she has represented our health system.

So well said. I am sick to death of her Greek chorus of subs who shower her with praise every day! Shes alienated many people who used to care and offered excellent advice, AT HER REQUEST.

Ive had loved ones die from cancer. I know the worry and sorrow. Tiffany is in no way an advocate for ANY cancer patient, not even for herself. Her channel is nothing more than a childish way of getting attention and internet "love", something she craves. Rarely, if ever, do I see her posting anything that could truly help others. And her dissing of her medical care is despicable.
She is a very troubled person who seriously needs mental therapy. And the dolts who worship her are just as kooky.

I read some comments on her last video- it is really annoying how many people are saying that she doesn't have to explain her situation to her audience. While that is technically true, she has a Youtube channel and has CHOSEN to share information about her health with us. She is also getting good money from the channel and from her merchandise. I'm totally fine with her never sharing another morsel of private information, but then she has to be willing to give up a lot of views and potential $$. She backed herself into this corner, and sadly her family seems to be enabling her.
Cancer or not, there is no way my husband or parents would put up with my filming, agree to moderate my comments, etc.

If she's got a partial obstruction, wouldn't "back up" and constipation eventually be a terrible, even life-threatening complication?

And if her obstruction is complete, why is she being sent home?

There's no way I believe that ANY doctor at Royal Marsden doesn't know these things - wouldn't even have to be an oncologist who was familiar with bowel cancer. Any doctor at all. Wouldn't even have to be at a top-tier hospital like the RM.

This just doesn't make ANY sense.

I think the thing that drives me the most insane about her journey is this hyper fixation on the biopsy , which has so much room for error.
Why does she get in such a state about it? Why not be more concerned about the enormous complex tumor that is tied around so much?? And WHY does she think that can all vanish and turn to mucus, when they have already told her the previous chemo didn't let it grow but didn't shrink it either. It makes me want to bash my head against the wall, endlessly hearing the repeated babble about the biopsies.

Hello ... another member gave the Tiff saga an apt name ... the Medical Mystery Tour. Welcome to the Tour!! Why she was an inpatient will forever remain a mystery. I honestly believe "something" beyond those freaking re-biopsies was planned and performed. She may have had an exploratory lap look-see and perhaps her pelvis was socked in with tumor. Maybe vaginal or other gyne biopsies were performed as we know the tumor had initially grown through the rectal wall into her vagina. Why so much vomiting, pain, morphine? Not good. Not good at all.

Totally agree there was more done. For one she admits in the current vid that her god like surgeon previously “pushed” through her bottom to get to the biopsy sites. The non god like surgeon this time was unwilling to push through to get to the biopsy site. She is confused and seems mad about that. Maybe the non god like surgeon saw the futility and danger of excessive bleeding in pushing through? Causing derp fissures and infections also. Remember it took weeks for her to say that the bleeding and mucous was better. She sounded like she was he orrhaging before. Im sure the non god like surgeon explained this all to her but NO, SHE HAD TO TAKE A FIT AND CRY FOR HER GOD LIKE SURGEON TO CALM HER DOWN! So yeah, I think re tal dilatation and other possible pelvic and lymph ode biopsies were involved. Hence the general anaesthesia and pain.

My husband developed fissures from a cancer treatment. Designed to cut off blood vessels to tumours (Cabozantinib a TKI inhibitor) and the treatment caused fissures, huge fissures.
The very first thing oncology did was change oramorphe to prevent further problems.
I sometimes get the impression that Tiffany chooses to be distant from her oncologist and cancer nurse specialist, and only focuses on the one surgeon.
Even if her surgeon offers surgery, she will still be left with microscopic cancer cells and will need regular scans for many many years.
Tiffany needs to switch her focus to her medical oncologist, who is deals with her disease day in day out.
If Tiffany can't have surgery, she will be discharged from the surgeons list and referred back to medical oncology. If her surgeon does perform surgery, soon after surgery he will discharge Tiffany back to medical oncology.
Tiffany says "My surgeon is the only one that knows my body".... How many times has she met him?Tiffany is a case file to him, nothing more.

Tiffany comes from a large family. Why isn't any of her family advocating for Tiffany?

Hi everyone I have been a TT follower just prior to her diagnosis. Like many people here I am beyond frustrated with the constant confusion and lack of clear updates that she gives. I was delighted to find the comment on her last video informing me that she has a tattle thread as it made me realise I'm not alone.
Personally I think Matt has put his foot down about being recorded so much ever since the backlash of people calling him out for encouraging her not to have surgery. There has been a noticeable absence of him on the vlogs since then compared to before. Can't say I blame him as he has always been so uncomfortable on camera.
Obviously I feel so sad for Tiffany and her family facing what I believe to now be a terminal diagnosis. I just wish that she would remember that people around the world are fully invested in her and playing around with people's mental health whether intentional or not is not okay.

Matt is not the kind of man who wants his life on social medIa.
The surgery issue was after all a very personal conversation and the reactions are more than likely bothering him.
Think about it ? Where is this headed? What kind of future can they have?

Someone here mentioned Tiffany may have fissures. IF tiffanys got anal fissures, they would refrain from using morphine. Why? Because morphine puts the digestive system to sleep and causes constipation. Constipation with anal fissures is a complication which is easily avoided by prescribing a different type of pain killer.

I agree that treatment with opiates does not seem to make sense for anal fissures but my bestie's butt can tell you that it's excruciating and that is what they gave her. Among other treatments, and, eventually 2 surgeries... and botox... Long saga. Highly likely TT has rips in the tissue, that's what's bleeding? I mean, I guess I could be wrong, but it seems logical, but truly I only speculate.

Regarding the bleeding my best guess is that the dilation itself stretches the tissues to their natural limit (whatever that is at the moment) and this opens up any fissures & scars from previous biopsies and suchlike, whether the camera makes it around or not.

Fissures without cancer are painful, bleed, and are hard to heal. Had a friend given opiates for those quite some time ago. Surgery, botox, medication withdrawal, it was a years long saga.

THIS! I had minor fissure after sigmoidoscopy and OMG what a pain it was, hours and hours of pain. Some people even land in ER as pain might be unbearable. I’m sure she has multiply fissures and inflammation going on. That’s why I got chills seeing her eating fried food with chili… trust me it will make pain only worst

My husband was on opioids for a couple of weeks after a major surgery a few years ago. He ended up with severe constipation as the hospital didn't mention stool softeners and laxatives! He had to try doing an enema at the hospital which didn't work. So he had to then have a medical enema - a huge tube put up his rectum and do a manual enema. He said it was so humiliating. Idk how she wouldn't have issues after being on them for so long.

Wow, I was just watching an education video about PE surgery, put out by Bowel Cancer UK.

The Macmillan nurse has a component in preoperative assessment and even prehabilitation. Psychological, Nutritional, and Physical Activity.

A surgeon also mentioned that if a patient cannot go up 2 flights of stairs, for instance, they are not even considered... this is St. Marks...

Also, they do not operate on scans more than 6 weeks old. So if this is the cycle when she has the operation, it will be within a month. Otherwise, buckle in for 2 months more of the same. Or ... The alternative...

So yeah, if all 3 things are considered pre surgery and they were ready to do surgery, then physically, psychologically, nutritionally, she must have been fit, as well as fully educated and prepared.

No wonder folks are saying she is full of BS with this 'confusion'. She is literally not a candidate if she is confused, or wishy washy, because the procedure is too big for that type.

I hope someone tells her to pull that stairs video down.

I’ve taken oral morphine before - it kicks in way quicker than half an hour. I don’t believe for a SECOND that she’s in that kind of pain. It’s all an act.

The hospital discharged her so she must have been coping ok. She complained of some pain when walking but was happily eating in the car. Not an ounce of pain when eating. Then arrived home and they ‘shot’ the staircase scene. Perhaps she told Amma to put some jelly in the syringe . More OTT drama to generate pity. Why climb the stairs and not rest downstairs?.
