I guess you have to have a higher than normal level of narcissism to put your life out there like a fish bowl for attention, likes etc. Like all social media influencers etc.

I've noticed that with Tiffany she's been really spoilt in her life and she loves control(because she's always/mostly got her way) - hence why she's coming across as manipulative. It's her way or no way. When you want to always have a high level of control you don't do well with adaptability. She doesn't adapt until she's absolutley forced to. You can tell with how rigid she is with everything in her life - her posting schedule, her frequently mentioning 'we only have a little part of the journey left' , 'by the end of this year I'll be cancer free' , making comments like 'I have to/or it has to be okay, we have no other choice' etc. So whenever she gets news which doesn't follow the narrative in her head - she freaks out and goes into this overly blocking mode that tries to bring back some semblance of order and control - 'this doctor doesn't even know my case that well' 'we went in for something else, my blisters but he started talking about other things(like the fact that her tumour might be too big to operate on)', 'I'm going to trust my doctors'(because it delays and puts off the surgery).

With cancer you can't always control things, or any illness for that matter. Yet she's tried to at every step, and her case is heartbreaking regardless and I feel empathy for her more than I feel frustration at times. And this goes back to the people criticising or sharing opinions which differ from the sweet, jesus loving and super positive individual she portrays - if anyone doesn't go with that narrtive she's putting out - she tries to block and delete. And since she can't over here - she wants control over the conversation and narrative.

With social media you either have to have super thick skin to take on people's criticisms, views and opinions which are different from yours - especially when you only put out a snapshot or one part of your life in a certain light. Or, you have to have the ability to adapt and change with self awareness. And she doesn't have either - so she's not handling it well, while having such a life threatning illness on top of it all.

This is just my interpretation, but I can see another spoilt brat (because I was and possibly am still one myself 😂).
100% all of the above. This is how she comes across to me too. It's insane how some people think she is this sweet, passive, and an all-accepting selfless individual. She is really oppositional, demanding, bratty, and very spoilt. I mean she even berates her own doctors cause they tell her that her situation is serious. She puts on the little girl voice and uses 'sweet words' but none of that is real. She does not care for anyone but herself.

And it is very possible to find her personality awful and at the same time feel for her and want her to be cured.

Check this out. It only takes 24hours to get PET scan results from the Royal Marsden. Tiffany could call her doctor and therefore know the results the next day if she wants to. Who wants to post this information on Tiffany's video, (and risk getting blocked and deleted)? (Post the info. without the link if you want to, because you tube censors links in many cases.)

From the Royal Marsden website itself (link below):

When will I know the results?
Although the radiographer/technologist can see parts of your body on the screen, the images must be carefully interpreted by a Radiologist/Nuclear Medicine physician who is an expert in this field.
He or she will prepare a report and send it to your doctor within 24 hours of completion. Your doctor will tell you the results and discuss them with you.

So if you are blocked and deleted (✅✅✅) from TF, is that current for that ‘vlog’ only or is it permanent?
Does that mean you can no longer see the videos or it’s just that you are unable to comment?
Sorry I don’t know this … there aren’t that many vlogs that take to blocking subscribers, so it’s kind of new for me 🤔
Thanks !

No offense to the person with the criminal psych interest/degree, but this assessment fits Tiffany much more accurately, I believe.

Temporary if she lifts the embargo. Permanent if she doesn't. You can still watch her videos though.

I was wondering the same recently. It seems that if you are 'blocked', you cannot post comments on any videos of the vlogger who blocked you. You can still see the videos though. Apparently you can be blocked and not know about it. You post a comment and it's sent but only you see your comment in the comment section and noone else. Google says. Let me know if I'm wrong.

I'm adopted and only have my birth mother's family medical history via my birth sisters (birth mom is a twit, sisters are cool). Birth father wanted no part of me.
I decided to participate in a breast cancer study via the University of California at San Francisco that assesses risk which then determines how often one needs to get a mammogram. You must submit previous mammogram results, disclose family medical history and history of birth control & childbirth. Alcohol intake, food, and smoking is a large part of assessing risk. Based on my information, I need to get a mammogram every two years.
Booze is a big breast cancer risk and it makes me loose my tit when I see breast cancer awareness influencers swan about with cocktails/wine.
I only have a drink maybe once a month now, gave up smoking two years ago, and switched to a whole food plant-based diet. Doesn't mean I won't ever get breast or any other cancer, but doing my best to reduce risk. Lost 50 pounds and the inflammation that affected my joints went away. Don't need daily pain meds anymore since my diet switch.
Still have cerebral palsy though wheee!

Back to TiffTalk!
That is true about alcohol. My doctor family member once told me: "Do whatever but don't smoke and don't drink (to excess). Both increase the risk of breast and other 'female' cancers like ovarian and cervical. Good job for quitting. These 'vices' are not easy to get rid of.

JellyBellyBeanie said that they don't handle criticism well and have a really thin skin. Which makes sense to me. Tiffany has shown that she is very unable to handle criticism. She keeps talking about a few 'negative' comments. I bet she is seething inside but masks it. It does not help cause her words betray her.

Yes you could open another google account if you wanted to comment but she probably will block if you don't agree with the narrative. Yes as mentioned above you can still see her videos.

I am almost sure that she reads here, when she says someone DM'ed her to criticize this or that, I bet she means someone posted something on tattle. Also she made random comments that addressed critique mentioned here like "I like to cook while Matt's at work so he can just eat when he comes home" (yes I succumbed to withdrawal symptoms and watched some of her videos again) and there were other comments that blew her cover but I can't remember right now.

I’m so sorry about your mother-in-law, and I will pray for her to be ok. I lost my beloved Dad to brain cancer (Grade 4 Glioblastoma) in December 2019. He was so healthy up till then, and very active and young for his age. We were shocked and devastated. Cancer doesn’t run in our family. We’re a family of heart attacks and strokes.
Cancer is a horror! I thought by now they would have a cure. I’m especially alarmed by so many young people getting cancer. I follow two other cancer vloggers, Jenny Apple and Krocks in the Kitchen. These young ladies are in their early to mid thirties, and are doing all they can to fight it. It is so tragic. Again, I hope your mother-in-law turns out to be fine, but if she does have cancer, then I pray that she will recover! ❤
Thank you so much, I'm so sorry about your dad. Cancer is just so sad and devastating, it's my number one personal fear I think. I also follow Jenny Apple and pray so hard that she is ok, Jenny and her husband are really genuine and informative also.

I hope that your mother-in-law does not have cancer.
Also, statistics are misleading. My family in the US is a large one (around 100 people or so.) No one has ever had cancer in my US family, so the statistic that '1 in 3' will get cancer also has to be analyzed with respect to what groups of people are more likely to get cancer. Seeing as how roughly 2/3 of the people in the US are either overweight or obese, the people in this category have a higher risk of developing cancer. Smokers have a higher risk of developing lung cancer than non-smokers. The contraceptives in birth control increase a woman's chances of having breast cancer. Eating too much red meat is associated with a higher risk of colorectal cancer, etc.

Therefore, overall, with a high percentage of the population in high-risk categories, the statistic that 1 in 3 will get cancer is obtained. It is, however, misleading. For example, take a group of pesco-vegetarians who are non-smokers, who are all in the medically normal, healthy weight categories-The statistic that 1 in 3 in this group will get cancer does not apply. The '1 in 3' statistic applies to the entire population at large--with obesity, smokers, red-meat eaters, etc. Therefore, it is important to analyze risk with respect to the particular group of people studied, and differentiate between a risk for the general population at large, or, risk for a particular category of people. The Mayo Clinic wrote an interesting article on this subject. Here is an excerpt:

Risk statistics can be frustrating because they can't tell you your risk of cancer. Studies may have found that American men have about a 40 percent chance of developing cancer in their lifetimes, but that doesn't mean your risk is 40 percent if you're a man. Your individual risk is based on many different factors, such as age and habits (including eating habits), family history of cancer, and the environment in which you live.
Even then, the combination of risk factors might not apply to you. Cancer is individualistic.

Thank you, and yes you are right about the statistics. I need to shake the fear...but if feels like cancer is creeping close.

Based on her pattern of behaviour, she wouldn't be here reading. The truth. She can't handle the truth.

How has this thread descended into arguments about birth control? 🤣🫣
No arguments, just a discussion around Cancer and contraception and how valuable everyone doing their own research is.

♥
But that wasn't me. That was Nathalie (c.sabatier) 😂 I'm sure I read about contraceptives not posing that risk. There is a mixture of findings in scientific papers.
However, I'm like you. I've been afraid of the pill for this reason and stopped taking it. It was always on my mind.
I also read that the risk for breast cancer (and probably other female cancers) increases shortly after pregnancy. On the other hand, those who have had a child in their lifetime are at a slightly lower risk than those who have never been pregnant.
Oops apologies for that,I blame tiredness, being a parent to toddlers is harder in my 30s than it was in my 20s so I never want to be pregnant again, give me all the contraception 😂😂

Speaking generally, I think they WOULD read this thread because it would buoy their belief system that the world is against them and be evidence of their victimisation yet again. It supports a person's narcissism and how unfair the world is towards them. You notice in the 99.99% of positive comments on her channel, all she "sees" or responds to is the 0.01% that are negative or the 0.00001% within those that were critical of Matt.

This place would act as a confirmation bias to how biased/ jealous/ bullying / unfair the world is against her.

No arguments, just a discussion around Cancer and contraception and how valuable everyone doing their own research is.

I have to thank all the Tattlers on here; as a result, at my specialist appointment today, I thought of him like a mechanic "looking under the hood" and I didn't mince words or symptoms, but, embarrassment be damned, I just laid it all out there for his consideration.

I feel it was one of the most honest and thorough medical appointments I've ever had. I have never been more forthcoming. Thank you to all who have participated in the discussion about doctor/patient relationships and how we have a responsibility ourselves to help them help us by putting aside any delicate sensitivities and just giving them the full picture!

There is a possibility that the ”fervent” chatter that has posted some really biting and cutting comments can actually be TF herself. I know she sounded different in her speech but she echoes some similar patterns and themes in her latest video regarding haters. Example is her reiterating that YT is free and if you dont like her channel then don't watch. Move on. i think this may be how she really speaks when she is very angry. Her cover is being lifted. And yes I do believe she would absolutely read things on her. She is compulsed and would not trust anyone else to come in here and defend her. Consider her tone in her vids when she is annoyed. When she is here annonymously she can be her true self right? Just a thought. Her bubbly little girl persona is just for the camera or for Darling.

It's very true, she micromanages and curates her videos. She is not showing us anything she does not want us to see or that is contrary to the image she is attempting to convey. From images of herself to word choices to the contents of packages she chooses to include herself opening, she is selecting it all very, very carefully and not without some overall persona or marketing image she wants to project herself as being.

There are big bucks in advertising and Tiffany has shown she is not a stranger to being willing to be a peddler of commercial greed. Could her suggestion of another round of Christmas vlogmas be still another attempt at self promotion for a big business partnership?

Yup - she mentioned (in the latest video I think) that she spends "so much time editing, and thinking about making videos." Everything she does on video is very planned out. Even rushing to the hospital seemed curated - t-shirts on, sirens blaring.

Making videos seems to consume her life. The thing is that everyone living under that roof has to participate willing or not I guess. I know Amma and Matt are clearly over it based on some of their reactions at times.
That video where she tells Amma to STOP HER CRYING!! That there is no use....I was flabbergasted by her lack of empathy for her mother emotions and state of mind. 😞 Poor Amma she's so sweet and gentle. Sadly she raised a little "Cosy Me Monster".
Also the one where's she sitting on her couch was so staged and cringe to me.
Like why are you faking this for? Oh look at me with my darling Matt drinking my cosy tea on my cosy couch wearing my cosy slipper watching cosy movies in my goddam cosy house in my cosy street!! I'm losing my freaking cosy mind lol 😂😂

Thank you so much. Cancer is horrible! I think it’s a fear for all of us. We thought with my Dad’s symptoms that he might have had a stroke. Never in our wildest nightmares did we think it was cancer!
Yes, Jenny Apple and her family are lovely. She just put a video out a few days ago where she participated in a 5K walk for cancer awareness, and she made a speech. I pray she is ok as well!

I started watching Jenny Apple's videos recently, what a sweetheart. You can tell she has no ulterior motive and no hidden agendas. Learning lots too.
Jenny Apple is such a lovely human and her vlogs are highly informative. Even with videos so few and far between (at times), it's very easy to keep track of her cancer status. She and her husband make an adorable couple. I hope she gets more subscribers!

Even (TiffanyThinks) rushing to the hospital seemed curated - t-shirts on, sirens blaring.
That's a point of interest. Tiffany was obviously ill and in need of help, but there was also planning in the presentation. This is incompatible with the nature of a true emergency. Her thought process (as we've discussed at length) is very atypical, shallow, and steeped in denial, so putting on merch for A&E is - in her mind - the "normal" thing to do. She's exploiting her own pain.
