I hope that the multi-disciplinary approach to Tiffany's surgery will include some counselling. And I hope that she takes it.
As I recall it has already been offered....I don't expect she has taken advantage of it...rather rely on "my darling".

Matt really sees the whole thing very simplistically: 'They need to cut it out, so that you are cancer free and then you don't have to think of cancer anymore'. Like what? There could be complications after the surgery and the cancer can come back and even metastasise. Or is he like this cause he cannot be direct with her? They talk to her like to a simple-minded child.
I think Matt honestly seems as naive as Tiffany.

Recording is the only smart thing to do. There is a ton of info and people often can't take it all in. There is only one family member that has been mentioned that could listen to this and maybe help others to get in the real world. She has mentioned a cousin in the medical field...a Dr. For some reason that person has not been involved. Not sure why.
They don’t need to record meetings. There is usually a nurse transcribing the meeting and details notes of each meeting are kept. She can at any time request copies of everything.

He is very much like her....in reality he knows this will change their plans drastically but chooses to look at it so simply...maybe for her benefit not sure. I wish she had just one strong advocate with her. In an earlier blog they were talking about the surgeon saying you "will lose some friends or even family" during this process and Tiff and Matt were remembering that in the car and some mention of that already happening. Tiff does not mention any friends checking in at all. I think for many years she finds one guy and he is everything. Tiroy was that guy for a long time. I don't know what happened there but even before cancer I would think Tiff would be hard to be in a relationship with...so clingy. Anyone know what happened there.

My father got a stoma at 78 years old and managed it very well but having one is a learning process, in terms of how it functions, caring for it and finding the supplies that suit you best. As someone else said it can be messy, there will be lots of leaks and accidents. I simply cannot imagine adding on a urine bag too.

I remember reading in the comments years back that he was caught screwing around on her. Some people on there knew him and that's what they were claiming. Of course, I have no idea if there's any truth to it.

I was following a young woman very much like Tiff who did the chemo...had the surgery and had a temp. stoma and then it was reversed. That scenario is long gone for Tiff as this is a much more complex and advanced cancer. I think Tiff's pollyanna lifestyle maybe ignoring health and signs of trouble has brought her to this point. If surgery is not an option she is just terminal and that is it. I hope she gains the weight and strength because at this point she knows it is growing inside of her and could cause complete blockage at any time. I really do feel bad for her and her family and hope others can learn from her mistakes here.

Sigh…. Here from Tiff’s YT. So, even my nice comments posted on her page are not visible. My first one was, now she just holds them. Not sure what it is about me she finds offensive. I’m not going to call her darling, etc she’s around the same age maybe a little older. That’s all neither here nor there—I’m not freakin well, many members of my family have died of cancer, some survived- so the uncertainty of her posts are distressing for me. Also not here to bash her- I’m quite simply perplexed af.

Calling it a ‘Hectic surgery‘ and ’nobody understands’, well of course nobody understands! Say what it is! It’s a total pelvic exenteration. People on her YT can then Google it and understand. She’s so frustrating. If you choose to share your cancer journey then at least explain it.
The surgery is called Extended total mesorectal excision (e-TME) and partial or total pelvic exenteration can be part of it.

Totally random. But is nando's in uk the same as nando's in the US? Is it so popular in uk? I see T goes in some video and emily hayward used to go all the time.
Not sure what Nando’s is like in the US, but here in the UK it’s a very popular chain of restaurant specialising in spicy chicken - you can find one in pretty much every town. Very popular indeed.

I thought that term "hectic surgery" sounds just crazy. Who the heck came up with this. I guess maybe what it attempts to say is there will be a large team of surgeons from many areas there tag teaming all under the lead of "her" surgeon. Hectic in that many will be coming in and out. It is a terrifying thought.

From what I can gather from her past vlogs, she went to the doctor numerous times for symptoms, I believe over a period of 8 months or so, but due to her younger age they never believed it was anything serious. She was treated for things like infections and so forth. I don't believe she put things off any more than the average person would have. Her initial symptoms could have been chalked up to so many things, and due to her age, colon cancer was the last thing on her mind, as well as the doctors, unfortunately.
Fair enough. I sure know the drill when you present with something like stomach pain etc. and appear healthy. I get it.

What I didn't like in yesterday's vlog was when they were in the car and he was constantly cutting in and speaking over the other two - very brusque, not entirely listening.

Tiffany uses the word 'hectic' all the time to describe virtually anything and everything.

You know in keeping with Tiff's magical thinking and Pollyanna lifestyle...any guesses how long she had symptoms before it got to this point? I think she had symptoms long before she finally went in. I think she blew them off and continued on her way.
I think so too. She also has videos from 10+ years ago where she is in and out of hospital having various stomach surgeries. She never says what her actual condition is. Very vague, as usual.

Matt seems in his own world...checks in and out as he feels like it.

It's pretty much non-existent over here unfortunately. I've been wanting to try it for so long but never managed to so far. The only times I've seen a Nandos in real life has been when I went to Washington DC in 2013 and when I went to Toronto a few years back but of course that wasn't in the US. As far as I know, only the capital has it

I'm talking about this thread. I followed her since the beginning of her diagnosis. Didn't know she has a thread here on tattle. 7 threads to be precise lol. I've got a lot of catching up to do.
Although, I haven't been watching her recent videos, so I'm not very updated on what's going on lately anyway.

Vanessa Lopez (Vanessa LPZ on youtube)? I followed her too. She is a complete opposite of Tiffany in terms of personality and maturity. And she was even younger than Tiffany when diagnosed. Vanessa's tumour was not as bad as Tiffany's. Vanessa's wasn't attached to all those pelvic organs. She had part of her colon removed along with the uterus I think. I think the tumour wasn't attached to the uterus but it was close so they removed it just in case. She is now in remission.
