I was reading something the other week (might have been Mumsnet). A ladies daughter had hit something (a tree or something) and drove off to park her car up safely so she could leave it and come back in the morning.
The police turned up at her house because the daughter was caught on camera when she had the accident and they hadn't had a report about it. Not sure what happened after.
Thought the 2 of them were having drinks then breakfast this morning ?
