What's more disturbing: the gluttony, or the claws?

tim_cubannails.png

Dim's hairline is fading faster than his "lose 30 pounds this year" goal. The four-fingered "twist and insert" is showcased to maximum effect.

Dim demonstrates the proper way to competitively eat "bizgits n gravy". All that gag reflex training has paid dividends.

I'm not buying the new provider thing as being their issue (or others' issues). I go to AdventHealth for my medical needs. I just did a quick search and there's TONS of pediatricians who are accepting new patients in the network, including this one who actually specializes in otolaryngology and is accepting new patients.

Maybe they'd have to drive out of Lake Nona to see someone. Oh, the horror. Or pay out of pocket to get their kid quicker care for his issue.
(I know we don't know their insurance...but they can pay OOP if need-be)

It's like @mjm9 said, it's an inconvenience to them.

I 100% agree. I wasn't saying that was their issue. I was saying, if there was an issue, it would be getting in to see the doctor, not the doctor performing the procedure, which seems to be the case with them. My experience is, once you are in the specialist practice, everything tends to move pretty quickly. Any wait a person experiences is usually for that first appointment.

I think they aren't being truthful and what the actual situation is, is not what they are putting out there. I also do not think they fight for their kid. Like, how back in the day, Jenn would complain enough to get a free cookie, they aren't complaining to advocate for their child. I don't think this is a doctor's scheduling problem. I just don't believe what they are saying is true. Wouldn't you go psychotic on someone if they told you that your 4 year old would be in pain for months and months while also dealing with an infant who (supposedly) doesn't sleep at all at night? It just seems all too--woe is me and they don't seem to be making any sort of measures to fix any of it.

BTW--Jenn pretty much confirmed in the live show that Da Baby is co-sleeping with them when she talks about the noises he makes at night and how he throws his arm and "punches" her in the middle of the night. I don't have a problem with co-sleeping. I did it with my colicky daughter and it saved my sanity. I mentioned it a while ago, but that's why there's never a pack and play/crib around when they are in hotels.

I find it strange Jenn didn’t join Tim for Flower and Garden yesterday. Tim was there solo, only meeting up with Adam briefly while looking at merch and then he met up with Nick and his son briefly after eating a Cuban sandwich.

I think they didn’t have the nanny yesterday since she had to stay late the night before. If that’s the case, they very well could have taken Oliver with them. It’s odd to me she didn’t go and missed the opportunity to stuff her face with food.

Oh yeah - sorry! I should have clarified when I responded. And I agree - the wait for an initial appt. is the longest, typically.

But you are so so right!!! They aren't advocating for their child. NOT ONE BIT. And it's disgusting.

I just hope buddy’s ear infections don’t cause permanent damage. I’m sure they would turn it to their advantage if it did. And I’m convinced they’re going to end up employing an au pair or the equivalent live-in so they have someone at their beck and call 24/7

Honestly, I think that would be the absolute best thing to happen to those kids. Tim and Jenn don't give a duck about them. It's great when they are in the videos and get all the likes and comments, but in the real world, off camera, those kids are doing nothing but holding them down from the fun, carefree life they had. A live in nanny/au pair would devote their life to those kids and give them the love and attention they desperately need without having a camera shoved in their faces. They both would thrive being raised by someone else.

You post what I think, @xmasbdaygirl!

Thankfully my kids were relatively healthy.
But the time there was a necessity for an orthopedic surgeon I cleared my calendar for all the consultations, visits and surgery date.
Something Tim and J4D refuse to do!

On another note…
How many trips do they have planned for 2024?

3 DCL Cruises - early June, late December and ???

Several Fort Wilderness stays - dates unknown

2 DL trips - August and September (three weeks apart)

Aulani - they tend to go early December

Oh. And I forgot their annual AMI trip.
May or July?

OK - I just went to the live and found the part where she talks about it. @8:55

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jenn: "Umm... we haven't had it yet. We are on the waiting list. And, I gotta be honest with you. When they told us the date that he was going to have it done, it's months and months away.

Tim: Yeah

Jenn: So I was like, what the heck?

[laughs]

Tim: Yeah, especially because the ENT was like - 'It might be sooner than you think.' And I was like, oh cool.

Jenn: Well, cuz it's such a short surgery. It takes 10 minutes. He's like - 'They can usually squeeze 'em in. It'll happen sooner.' And I was like, oh, that makes me feel so much better bc we're constantly dealing with the ear infections. He's literally on an antibiotic right now for an ear infection.

Tim: Right.

Jenn: And so, I was hoping that it would happen sooner. But yeah, um...so yeah, we just kind of waiting. We're waiting for the day. But as soon as it's done, I think he's gonna feel so much better.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, if you were told a date "months and months away" and now you're on a "waiting list" waiting for "the day" and your kid is constantly uncomfortable, would you not seek out another location, physician, practice, option, opinion, etc. to get a sooner date?!?

I mean, how does it go from "sooner than you think" and "squeeze them in" ...to "months and months away" and an indeterminate date?

Something is missing from the story.

ETA: Often when someone prefaces something with "to be honest with you," the next thing out of their mouth is going to be a lie (or fabrication of sorts). Cuz they're trying too hard to make something sound believable. Obvs not always the case, but consider the speaker here.

Her eyes dart around a lot when she's talking about this too. Tim just pretty much stares forward at the screen.

Just watched Adam's video about Moonlight Magic....Jenn's constant giggling in the background is so annoying, she never stops. She needs to stay home and let the guys make videos on their own.

Did they get rid of knives at Disney? I mean, I thought I had used them when I was there in October…but things change. He has his stupid table setup for the camera, he should have both hands free, why is he completely incapable of cutting food into actual bite-sized pieces?! I’ve never seen anyone eat like they do.

I 100% agree with you.The stability and routine would do the boys so much good, it’s what kids prefer, especially those on the spectrum if that’s what is happening here. What concerns me is when the au pair moves on, as they usually do. It world be sad for the boys to have to say goodbye to a positive influence in their lives. Because they haven’t had that in their lives so far.

I can confirm they have knives. I used a knife yesterday, for the sticky ribs, because I didn't want to accidentally be in the background of someone's vlog gnawing on a rib. :ROFLMAO:

We buy a family plan on the exchange. Honestly, there aren’t really cheap plans on there (due to all of the mandates about what must be covered) Like you can’t say oh give me the crappy plan with no doctors for $5. The networks are the networks. The one thing you can play with is the deductibles, but that wouldn’t affect your physician network.

I’m sure it’s possible that the next available surgery date was “months” out. Like maybe 12 weeks. That’s believable. It’s also believable they turned it down because of a trip or cruise. They may not even be able to schedule yet because surgeons only schedule so far out.

I'm convinced his parents just gave up on raising him like a human and left him to learn how to eat on his own or something. But we should lower our expectations you guyzzzz, it's just really too much to ask a manchild who pretty much stuffs his ugly face for a living to remember to grab the right utensils and some napkins and actually use them in the way that they're meant to be used!

He also drinks from bottles weird, I've noticed. He like wraps his whole mouth around it and throws his head back to chug like he's at a gloryhole instead of just sipping from a bottle normally. What did bottles do to you Dimmy? He surely has some weird mouth issue, whether for real or in his head.
