They did not. They took a taxi to the closest beach (Great Bay Beach?). By the time they figured out how to get cash from an ATM they could have walked there. But this is the Slackers we're talking about...Did they go to Maho beach? I bet they hated it. It is a pretty shitty beach not a spend the day relaxing soaking up the sun being waited on hand and foot. It is a tiny beach with the draw being seeing the airports landing at the airport across the street.
He just seems like he is behind in several skills to me. Mostly due to how his parents have raised him. He will likely catch up now that he is attending a school. The kid shouldn't even be shown on the internet for random strangers to diagnose in the first place!Sorry if this is offensive but I feel bad for Jackpot, he is obviously a kid with special needs and his dumb as ass parents don't give a rats ass about him. I am offended by there negligence of him. Get a grip you stupid stupid supposedly parents and look after your children...put the bloody camera down!!!
Ok, something that has been a question for me- where is Tim's mom? He has shown his dad multiple times, referred to his dad multiple times, we have seen glimpses of Nanny Rose's arm, ponytail, side view.... but no Grandma? I haven't finished this vlog yet, but it seems odd they haven't shown even a small shot of her as they pan around or refer to her food. Did she even go??
If I was Tim's parents, I would think it was absolutely nuts that they didn't spend time with O or take him with them, and had this woman around tending to him while Jenn stuffed her face and babbled about room service. Wtf?
Edit!: OK, they just showed her at the table as they approached at dinner. Jenn was being sing-songy, and were they late AGAIN?! Tim's mom didn't even look up.
Oh wow, yeah that is a shitty beach too. It has pollution problems from the main storm water runoff line that drains into the bay. Yuck. They did not. Edit: Also, there was zero mention of BBO.

I am tired of seeing OGB in his $3 tiny girl’s shorts showing way too much crotchWouldn’t be a fun family trip without the Trackers shoving a camera in Jackson’s sad face to make a huge spectacle about him being sad. “Buddy!! Are you sad we are leaving!!?l
I can actually see the emotional damage they are causing him.

I don't go anywhere on vacation without at least a couple hundred bucks in cash on me, either in dollars, or the local currency (unless it's a cruise or someplace that readily takes dollars). Couple of Ben Franklins, and some smaller bills for tips, etc. It's so typical of them to get off the ship and not have any cash. I know he said they were gonna fly by the seat of their pants, but come on. They have a complete lack of common sense, don't they?
Yes! I mean, a lot of these places either accept cash only or are places most people wouldn’t hand their credit card info over to. They are not new to this. Also, when taking a child to these “unknown” places for the trackers, most would make sure they were covered for unexpected things that may come up.I don't go anywhere on vacation without at least a couple hundred bucks in cash on me, either in dollars, or the local equivalent (unless it's a cruise or someplace that readily takes dollars). I can see the Bojans probably avoid all tipping with the old "Sorry, I don't have any cash on me. Honey, do you have a couple of dollars on you? No? Sorry man." routine.
I wouldn't buy anything within a half-mile of a cruise ship anyway, but you're absolutely right. If I was in Europe, I'd definitely be using local currency as much as possible as it's much easier on the merchant, and obviously much easier to tip (where tipping is appropriate, culturally).Yes! They are just really dumb. Great Bay Beach is walking distance from the cruise ship, the water taxi is a convenience. They should have had cash but US currency is accepted all over the island with no issues and most places by the beach take credit cards or Apple Pay.Yes! See you make sense. They are on a Disney cruise in the least “foreign” ports in the Caribbean and still can’t handle themselves properly.I wouldn't buy anything within a half-mile of a cruise ship anyway, but you're absolutely right. I have two "rules" when walking around a foreign city: Do try to use the local currency if possible: again, it's easier on the merchant, especially the smaller more local shops and cafes that might not run credit cards too often. Don't try to speak the local language unless you are very confident in your fluency. Even if you think it projects an effort on your part to respect the language and culture, it can come off just the opposite if you really butcher someone's mother tongue. Just don't "expect" everyone to speak English (as I'm guessing the Bojans do). I had 7 years of French in high school and college, and I am very wary to getting too confident, even in Paris. In Rome, I'm just flat out "I'm very sorry, I don't speak Italian, can you help me please?"
Like Tim’s good friend Adam the Woo who will boast he isn’t drinking soda but will have a super sugary pumpkin spice latte and not think anything of it.I like how adamant Tim is about not having soda when J$ wants orange Fanta and then cut to the very healthy meal of hot dogs, chicken tenders and french fries.
I remember me and my husband went to Tangier Island in the Chesapeake Bay (in the Virginia part of the bay). They said on the ferry boat website and if you went to the Tangier Island website too that BRING CASH. As some of the places like the museum that explains the Islands background (fishing and now mainly tourism) won't take card.I don't go anywhere on vacation without at least a couple hundred bucks in cash on me, either in dollars, or the local currency (unless it's a cruise or someplace that readily takes dollars). Don't get me wrong. There's nothing wrong with making an effort to learn a local culture and make efforts to communicate in the native tongue. My first trip to France in high school, our French teacher, a native Parisienne, encouraged us to try to speak French whenever possible. Immersion is a wonderful way to experience a foreign culture. I just find that some people tend to migrate to both extremes: either they refuse to try to understand the local tongue and expect to be spoken to in English, or they get offended when that cab driver in Florence didn't understand their Rosetta Stone Italian.See you make sense. They are on a Disney cruise in the least “foreign” ports in the Caribbean and still can’t handle themselves properly.
So, I take it we will not get the video explaining what it is like to cruise with a person with a disability, since it seems Tim pays absolutely no mind to his dad struggling behind him to come down the stairs… it might just be me, but I would at least walk next to them incase they needed assistance.
