I don't understand how they publicly fake firsts like that. Big Baby's first Disney park (Epcot) didn't count because Jenn wanted it to be MK. It doesn't work that way, sweetie. J$ had multiple first car wash visits. People watch these videos, they can see that you are lying!!!
And the sticker chart clearly isn't working. They've had a sticker chart for a while, they've shown it to us before. J$ is still not doing what they want. Does anyone want to guess why? As an actual behavioral therapist, M Ed and Board Certified Behavioral Analyst, the chart was not great. They need to give measurable and attainable goals, not blanket statements like “plays nice”. If they used it correctly it could improve behavior like him being too rough with O, but I would target 1 behavior at a time like using nice hands and giving a gentle hug. There is no modeling or actual correction going on like “that’s too rough. You have to touch him like this”. That Stan is an RBT at best and there is little to no experience required for that. He is going to be in so such a ride awakening if/when he starts real school.

And if you want Jackson to handle quiet time- practice quiet time. There is nothing wrong with putting a kid in their room and tell them they can play quietly with their toys. I used to have a bag of special quiet time toys that my son played with at that time. If he's tired, he will nap on his own.

I’m all for positive reinforcement, you know, when the kid does the right thing, you tell him with words and show him some love, not reward him with toys. The child needs to think for himself. This reward chart is so fucked up! This maybe my opinion, but I think all this reward chart system is encouraging him to become a horrible brat.
