KP are taking a bit of a battering on X for seemingly throwing Kate under the bus with the Mother’s Day photo statement.

Totally understandable that with kids that young as Louis is, they wanted to make sure they understand and have processed (if that’s already possible) - and to time it for Easter break so hopefully it won‘t be a that big topic when they return

Really hoping that both are recovering - this will be a very tough 24 and maybe onwards for them

Is preventative chemotherapy what chemotherapy normally is? I’m not sure on the distinction being made, if any
Likely that they mean adjuvant chemotherapy rather than 'preventative'.

Essentially with chemo you have multiple choices - neoadjuvant (before you cut out the tumour itself, to try and shrink it and stop it spreading), adjuvant (after you cut out the tumour, to try and kill any cells that weren't cut out to try and prevent recurrence), induction (to try and make the cancer go away non surgically), consolidation (to try and keep cancer away that you've already killed), palliative (to try and relieve symptoms but not going to make the cancer away).

Having had surgery then having chemo suggests adjuvant.

This really got me, I always think it’s so easy to forget that those that marry in have their own (often much more functional) families too

Yes most people are not
They should have told the truth from the start instead they chose to stay silent while the whole world was getting scammed by them.
What an obnoxious loon you are

Apologies if this has been asked because the thread is moving so quickly but am I right in the understanding that: Kate said in the video that cancer had been present and is now undertaking a course of preventative chemotherapy. Does that mean that the main cancer/tumor would have been removed and she would currently be showing as NED (no evidence of disease) and the chemo is to eradicate any microscopic cancer cells that may still be left in the body? Is that to say that she doesn’t currently have cancer? I’m not sure if I’m making sense but the wording can be ambiguous. Not that it makes much difference to me as the Joe Public but wondering if that means she is currently really labelled as currently ‘having cancer’ ?

There's no way to know. Likely it's adjuvant, we don't know what margins they had on whatever they removed (critical on deciding whether we're labelling it as 'cancer free').

The media seem to be suggesting it’s bowel cancer. A cancer specialist was openly talking about it on CNN.

They weren't worried for her. They were concern trolling to try and apply pressure.
Exactly. Did the American talk show host that was laughing about her marriage and husband cheating care about her? Absolutely not. People were looking for a laugh and to make money.

Good on Rose Hanbury for serving papers to Stephen Colbert. Absolute grifter dragging her and her friend's marriage through the mud to try and be relevant again.

Well, it was a was one heck of a ride and people are truly insane. I'm going to hell for laughing at the memes for sure 🔥🔥🔥!

Cancer doesn't give a duck who you are and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I'm sure they have access to the best medical care too. Their team needs to take a good bleeping look at themselves for creating this online fiasco. Sack the lot of them 👎

The fact she released this statement and delivered it herself and in such a personable way... I hope that this decision was her own, to give her a sense of control, with disclosing her own medical status, and that she didn't feel/wasn't forced to do so. I guess we will never know 🤷.

I can't imagine how things are going to be while she is seeking treatment, the media and general public will still be obsessing over getting a snap on her or trying to track her treatment/recovery 🙈🙄

After Boom Boom posted this on the last thread, the You Tube algorithm must have been working, as their latest programme was just about to start and it flashed up in my You Tube.
Glad I clicked on it, as I feel so much better now. I'll see if I can post it further down. They've cancelled their normal programme, as so many people are wanting to talk about Kate.
They're making a lot of predictions. Kate's is going to take a while but they can see her getting better. Said Charles is losing his hair at the moment.
Boom Boom's post:
Here it is what I'm watching:

This is the one I watched announcing her diagnosis:

Would love if she won a load of money. I don’t think William or Kate really care to go after things like that.

Out of all the things it could have been I never expected cancer! She looks so tired, no wonder she was expected to rest until easter if everything had gone to plan and it wasn’t cancer.
