If the funeral is held in 10 days I will be abroad. I’m a little gutted as I’d prefer to be in the UK for that. I guess it will be heavily broadcasted everywhere.

Phillip came to me today,
and said it was time to go.
I looked at him and smiled,
as i whispered that "I know"
I then turned and looked behind me,
and seen I was asleep.
All my Family were around me,
and I could hear them weep.
I gently touched each shoulder,
with Phillip by my side.
Then I turned away and walked,
with My Angel guide.
Phillip held my hand,
as he lead the way,
to a world where King's and Queens,
are Monarch's every day.
I was given a crown to wear
or a Halo known by some.
The difference is up here,
they are worn by everyone.
I felt a sense of peace,
my reign had seen its end.
70 years I had served my Country,
as the peoples friend.
Thank you for the years,
for all your time and love.
Now I am one of two again,
in our Palace up above.
Poem borrowed from and written by unknown author

Thank you Queen Elizabeth ❤
Oh God, that’s me crying again. I’m not even a cry person. I just feel drained. What a year in this country 😩

Did anyone else notice the staff in the BBC newsroom filming on their phones in the background as Huw delivered the breaking news statement that the Queen had died?

I think it was probably the most disrespectful things I have ever seen on TV and think those responsible should be sacked.
I saw this and then saw a man in a white shirt come and reprimand them(good!)
So disrespectful

It could be more than forty years before another Royal Jubilee. Charles is very likely not to live another twenty-five years to see his Silver one.

Hope they feel ashamed. It was just awful as it was totally distracting me from what Huw was saying and he was doing the most incredible job.

Looks like two women are. (To the right)

Maybe a chemo tap ?
I wouldn't have thought so, they wouldn't put chemo through a line in your hand... it's been bloods taken or a line put in for fluids.... regardless it's sad, and I feel terrible for even speculating.

I've said this on another thread somewhere but I'm wondering about the marks on the back of her hands yesterday. Maybe liver cancer or some sort of liver disorder?
Lady C said bone cancer. I think if it was a liver issue she’d be yellow looking in the recent pictures, although they could’ve edited them

It’s just so strange how she appeared okay 2 days ago. Mind you at 96 I suppose it can happen

Either something significant happened to her health in the last 48 hours, or she had been prepped to be ok in some way for that appointment - not sure how long the appointments actually were - if they were about 15 minutes each she may have taken all of her energy to get through both of them. If she had been treated through a cannula in the hand causing the bruising etc then it may have been something more long-term going on but I don't think we're ever going to get told that as it's her private health.

Agreed. It’s just so sad. God bless her

I think she had a stroke or a bad fall yesterday and passed away today
Huw mentioned something about her health deteriorating during the night earlier. They mentioned a lot of small details which hadn't been released to the public outside of the speculative stuff

My great nan had some M&S sandwiches for dinner, a couple of chocolates then had a snooze in her armchair and never woke up. She was 92. Sometimes your body simply becomes too tired. I think thinks the case here. She lost her love last year and I think it became too hard without him.
