I've said this on another thread somewhere but I'm wondering about the marks on the back of her hands yesterday. Maybe liver cancer or some sort of liver disorder?

Harry has now reached Balmoral, I hope he was aware of the news before the announcement was made

Apparently protocol is just children and grandchildren of the monarch. I think maybe Sophie was the exception to this as she’s been extremely close to the Queen, especially in recent years.
Probably the children and their spouses. We didn't see anything of Princess Anne as it seems she was very close to Balmoral this morning, so her husband may have been there too.

Harry has just arrived it seems

Looking back now , the Queen must’ve been exhausted meeting with Liz Truss the other day. I can imagine her pulling herself together, to perform her duty as monarch. Truly dedicated, right til the end .

I remember once learning that the royal family could never all be at the same location at once (too much of a target).
Could this be reason for the staggered visits?

I think she has been quietly unwell. As I read that Charles has been visiting her every day

Lol newsreaders have to keep correcting themselves when saying Charles, they keep saying saying Charles the King or Prince Charles as he was

A nee had been there for a week so I’m assuming her husband is also likely to have been there?

Did anyone else notice the staff in the BBC newsroom filming on their phones in the background as Huw delivered the breaking news statement that the Queen had died?

I think it was probably the most disrespectful things I have ever seen on TV and think those responsible should be sacked.

I'm a nurse and I've seen patients with bruises like just from getting bloods taken.

I didn’t expect to feel so sad about this, to be honest. My mum died very suddenly last month, aged just 68, and I think it’s the thought that she would’ve phoned me as soon as the news broke, and would’ve been really sad about the queen dying 😢💔

I seriously hope that all phones are banned when she’s lying in state for public viewing

This is what I thought when I saw it from bloods being taken or an IV placement? Maybe an IV from having medications or fluids at home?

Does anyone know what happens now? As in each day until Charles takes the throne. I want to cancel plans accordingly to show respect, mourn and watch the coverage.

My granny was on warfarin for years after having a heart attack. The back of her hands where always like this from the most minor knocks against things. Can we just not think she was really old and it was her time?
