It’s the strange little things... I’m not a royalist and can’t bring myself to feel sad about a 96 year old dying peacefully with family around, that’s all any of us can hope for. However I work in healthcare and a common little test we do for confusion has the question “who is the current monarch”— pulled me up short just now! End of an era

The goal isn’t to live forever, it’s to create something that will, and you certainly did that your majesty. Rest in peace our Queen. ❤🫅🏼🇬🇧

Can't imagine how Charles must feel. Being flown into an even bigger lifetime of service (even though he's already dedicated his life to it). Touring the UK whilst mourning the loss of his mum. Don't know how the royals do it to be honest.

I find it so strange Meghan didn’t go. I don’t follow the ins and outs of all of that drama with the RF but just to support your husband surely?
