Yep. The more money the parents have the more difficult it becomes to get anyone to take action to protect the child. Stockbroker belt child neglect and or abuse is the most under reported domestic offence in the country.Unfortunately this is very true. Like I’ve said before I’ve had to report more than one too many families because I somewhat work in that field. As long as a child has everything they need (food, a roof over their head, clothes, don’t have dirt all over them and don’t look beat up..) nothing will be done. I ran into this problem recently. The child is left alone or with strangers for 12-13 hours a day at 5 years old. She gets sent to kindergarten with severe ear infections with meds in her backpack and a house key so she can let herself in when she’s home alone.. But she always looks clean, her hair is done and she isn’t bruised more than the regular child at that age, so there’s nothing anyone will do because nothing bad has happened to her yet. To say it’s frustrating is an understatement.
And do not get me started on their fancy fkn boarding schools and the trail of tragedy leading to and from them.
