Sarah, tonight my daughter phoned to say that Wednesdays MRI scan and bloods of my grandson’s shows NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE! They haven’t slept since Wednesday worrying. While you balance your innocent baby who is already vulnerable in that brace, ontop of her pushchair not strapped in. Telling her “we’ve only just got here Mila.” Like Mila fucking understands that! I will never ever be jealous of you, you have what I would HATE. Money doesn’t buy class. Happiness is hearing my daughter cry tears of relief because she adores her son so much this has been her worst nightmare. Your worst nightmare? A hold up at the airport and no frappe left at the McDonald’s drive through. You may have more money than me and my husband put together but you can keep it. Look what Money has done to you. You’re the definition of ugly personality. My husband may have to have a look at the reduced section in supermarkets because we’re saving for a new car, and he comes home with black oiled hands through hard graft. But we wouldn’t swap with you in a million years!!!!
@hotstepper ,so delighted for you and your daughter/son in law. That`s brilliant news!
.x The Minghams have no idea of real love or true happiness. I feel sorry for them.On a smaller scale ,but equally as heartening ,my elderly mum has been having problems with her sight after undergoing cataract surgery. She wasdevastated when the opticians told her they could do no more ,so i rang the eye clinic at our local hospital (where the proceedure was performed) ,and explained exactly what was happening ,how my mum was widowed etc ,and could they help? It took alot of calls and eventually she was given an appointment to attend ,.which we did a few weeks ago. After the usual initial tests/drops etc ,we went into see the doctor ,who on looking behind her eyes said it was a complication of the cataracts and he`d laser the "fog" for her.It took about 10 mins ,was painless ,and afterwards my mum could see again. It was honestly like winning the lottery (I`m sure you all felt the same on hearing the wonderful news about your grandson) ,and my mum just couldn`t stop smiling.
..As you so rightly say ,no amount of money could equal the immense relief and joy both your family ,and ours ,felt at such amazing news.I`m so very happy for you all ,i know from what you`ve mentioned here that you`ve all been to hell and back. Finally the clouds have lifted ,and the sun has returned to your lives. What a great way to end the weekend. You have one very special ,and brave little boy there ,and who you can now breathe a little easier over.Thankyou for sharing your news. What a great father`s day gift for his daddy.I`m beaming literally from ear to ear ,and i bet you`ve not stopped smiling either.A sweet reminder of how wonderful life can be.
