Stephanie I do love you, but can the channel please go back to videos on the chateau and it’s restoration. Personally I feel the channel has become too off track. Can we please have less on travel, there are so many travel channels already out there. What is happening with the on the grand salon, the walled garden etc.

I miss the channel. I miss old Stephanie when the channel was about renovation and not travel and lifestyle. My comment will get deleted because thats what they do now. Bring back Stephanie who cared about the Château and getting it renovated. Not the life style guru. There is a reason the channels subscribers are stagnant and Dan is becoming the most popular château channel

I wonder if @nj_jj knows that this Pentecôte weekend is THE weekend for fêtes and fayres in France? These are the fêtes for the French before the massive wave of tourists start to arrive from mid June onwards. By tripping off to Chelsea on Saturday night, Sunday morning Despicable fanny has missed major content input of how the French do France. Stupid girl, that is what the punters want.

I’m still pondering the “time and motion” logic of items from the peacock bedroom (chambre des oiseaux) being carried down the main staircase, trotted through the downstairs rooms and then taken up the back stairs to the hideously redecorated bedroom. A much easier route would have been going along the first floor landing, through Steff’s suite and then.straight on to the landing beyond. (Unless, of course, the two bedrooms above the sagging grand salon have already emptied, with the furniture stored in the demolition site G/S, pending removal to the storage containers.)

Nobody in that hellhole has an ounce of sense.

The interior designer/ film and editing assistant said it took Grant THREE HOURS to take one bed apart! Well done Selmar you fixed those well.
What an utter waste of morale and time.

Fear not lovers of Ruby! I'm pretty sure Ruby has known about that fox for some time. Ruby seems to be able to take care of himself pretty well. He is the only inhabitant of the dump that does.

I have noticed since Marie has been back at the farmhouse. Ruby is looking decidedly thicker so I’m not sure if it’s his old age or Marie is definitely feeding him every day. He looks a lot healthier and frankly a lot happier having the dog off the leash is nice for Ruby. I’m all for it as he’s the only cat that I’m friends with.

• That she and the Porcelain Nonce delay instrumental and immediately required projects by refusing to take the advice of the specialists they employ
• That they pay an exorbitant amount for said advice only to choose to ignore it (20 grand for a survey?!) - or probably is lying about the amounts, it's not like we have any cough accounts cough to go by
• That the chapel restauration alone is soon to cost as much as they have paid for the entire bloody farmhouse

In the photo where she's holding Leftalot, she looks exactly like she did in the one after having her hair done. Without her thumbnail filtering, she is very much a plain Baby Jane. If PJ wants to pretend that he's straight, he's giving a completely different impression in all those photos! Neither of them has the slightest idea of how to decorate or dress a room. They are just a couple of schoolchildren pretending to know what they are doing. Talk about Christie's taste makers! At least, she's got no chance of that ever happening again.
