When to get medical advice

yeah it's a similar appliance, but not from Vorwerk, so technically not a "thermomix®". Though I wonder is the real ones are worth the big price tag compared to the cheaper ones from other brands

Depends how often you use them. If only as a balance or for once in a while a soup like S than not.
I used it for homemade babyfood, ice or sorbet, homemade cat food and confiture in huge batches, I made my own mayonnaise, ketchup, spices, garlic butter, various spreads, all kind of desserts, etc
Also special recipes since I have plenty of allergies, too.
And coming from Balkan my everyday soup of course
But we do have lots of guests on weekends so I often cook 3 courses for 12- 15 persons.
It's a different way of cooking, so if you are already a good cook with 20 years of cooking experience and you have all kind of kitchen gadgets which worked for you all the time, you won't find a lot of advantages.
Unless you really do a lot of things on your own(eg mayonnaise instead supermarket one)
The best moment to buy a new 2000 euro thermomix is with 19 when moving out and not having already any kitchen gadgets and tools and you start with regular cooking, so you can get used to it. Great thing is that you really have only one pot to clean.
I had twice bad luck that electronics got broken 1 month after warranty expired so had to pay 400 euros for repair each time. So this was too expensive and I sold it the second time.
I got myself the cheap no name one, but must say when you are used to the real thing the cheap one is annoying. Very loud, you can't clean them in the dishwasher, no balance, can't adjust them continuously. Can't recommend them.

He's certainy been eating more since the money has been rolling in looking at his increasing waistline and those cheekbones (that don't really exist). He must be treating himself to all the goodies he can now afford. The amount of food he bought at the butchers that sells British foods was way over the top.
