At this point I wish the doctors would just say ‘alright Hollie, obviously we’ve been mistreating your very much alive son, so we’re going to let your army come in and sort it out.’ Cue the arrival of an insane mob with a group IQ of 27 desecrating the corpse of a young boy, who should’ve been peacefully laid to rest months ago, with honey, coloured lights, soil, essential oil and chocolate cake. Doctors really are saints because if I was in their position I would have refused to work on this case on the grounds that I can’t perform necromancy.
Also the whole ‘Archie didn’t kill himself’ route seems insane but is a sadly common sentiment of families who have had someone kill themselves, especially someone young. It reminds me of the desperately sad death of CBBC child actress Mya-Lecia Naylor. She hung herself in the garage but it was finally ruled as ‘death by misadventure’ because the parents insisted she would never kill herself. For parents especially, it’s nicer to believe that your happy child died in a tragic accident, rather than your child was so horrifically depressed they wanted to end their life and succeeded.
