Yeeep. But it'd be too much to ask these losers to actually put in the work and think about all that. Most of them are just trying to make a quick buck from half-baked ideas and cheap, bad products.I wrote this on Lucy Moon's thread but it applies to Tanya too (Lucy is also launching something and has gone for similar "cryptic" marketing: "follow my page but I won't tell you what I am launching until it's launched https://www.instagram.com/hours.london/ )
If you are an influencer and trying to start an online business, you need to ask yourself 2 things:
1. Does someone (one or more people/brands) is already selling something similar? Am I adding to the market? Am I launching something new, fresh, innovative, something there is still a niche for? - if answer is yes -> go ahead
2. Would people buy it if it wasn't launched by me, the influencer? Would people who are not aware of my activity on social media, follow the page and buy the product? - if answer is no - don't bother.
As simple as that.
But honestly, can't imagine Authored will ever amount to anything. I mean, Tanya can't even drum up engagement for her own page, much less for this bullshit company. In the last month, the grid post that got the most likes got 77k, that's a reach of 2.3% for her following. But the vast majority of them didn't pass 20,000... that's 0.6%. It's insane that anyone is still doing business with her.
