I wrote this on Lucy Moon's thread but it applies to Tanya too (Lucy is also launching something and has gone for similar "cryptic" marketing: "follow my page but I won't tell you what I am launching until it's launched  https://www.instagram.com/hours.london/ )
If you are an influencer and trying to start an online business, you need to ask yourself 2 things:
1. Does someone (one or more people/brands) is already selling something similar? Am I adding to the market? Am I launching something new, fresh, innovative, something there is still a niche for? - if answer is yes -> go ahead
2. Would people buy it if it wasn't launched by me, the influencer? Would people who are not aware of my activity on social media, follow the page and buy the product? - if answer is no - don't bother.
As simple as that.
Yeeep. But it'd be too much to ask these losers to actually put in the work and think about all that. Most of them are just trying to make a quick buck from half-baked ideas and cheap, bad products.

But honestly, can't imagine Authored will ever amount to anything. I mean, Tanya can't even drum up engagement for her own page, much less for this bullshit company. In the last month, the grid post that got the most likes got 77k, that's a reach of 2.3% for her following. But the vast majority of them didn't pass 20,000... that's 0.6%. It's insane that anyone is still doing business with her.

When I look at authored, I thought she is selling minimalist notebook and stationery.

Oh yes, I agree, it will fail miserably. She should have started doing makeup tutorials again (even if it's just IGTVs) months ago to gain traction and now, when there is just over a month left until the big launch, she should be showing the products, talking about them, use them in a tutorial.
She should also be sending them to fellow influencers to show and try out.
Also, she would never do that, but she could and should do a give-away of kits including a few or all products for those people who still follow the account. Most follow because it used to be Tanya Burr Cosmetics. If they got products to try out, maybe there is less chance of them unfollowing.
She can just sit (on her gifted mattress) and wait for the products to sell because they're Tanya Burr's products. They will not, not without a proper marketing plan . She's once again overestimating herself.

Yes the odd makeup products seem so random. Especially as she had turned her back on her YT makeup career. She seems to be hoping her old followers will be there to unquestioningly lap up her new makeup range. Even though she effectively shat on them.

Yeah I don't comprehend how she's not a YT/social media makeup artist anymore but expects people to ... buy makeup. 🙈
You have to give something to get something back.
In her case she needs to give to the audience better content. I mean, any content really. Pic dumps followed by sharing those same pics on Stories with occasional AD is really NOT content. She will then be rewarded by people following the new company's IG and buying the products.
Nothing in life comes for free, most things require hard work. But that's the one thing she can't be bothered to do.

Im watching some of those vlogmas videos (idk what year, 2015 maybe), and Martha is barking in the background of a lot of the videos and Tarn looks kind of annoyed about it. I wonder if she gave her away because she didn’t want to deal with the training / barking, etc?? it seems from what she’s saying in the vlogs that Martha always had difficulties being alone.
I might be completely wrong though

Also, I never realized how freaking FILTHY Tanya is. Omg the floors in their London house were covered in all kinds of gunk, her makeup area is a complete mess, rooms have random tit all over the floor, she constantly threw all her clothes anywhere she took them off. Just have a look at that sock of hers in the picture 🤢🤮🤮🤮

I don't know who she thinks she's trying to fool. Remember that time she asked a question in Stories, what she should bake in an IGTV, and the replies were so low that she could tally the results on a half sheet of paper? Everyone can see her audience is gone and her engagement's dropped to a dire degree. As if she had this big outpouring of love and support. 🙄 From who? The porn bots you don't know are porn bots and you think are actual people commenting and messaging you? 🤣

This is what I mean by, she can act like everything's just the best it's ever been and live in her delusions. But not when Authored fails. 😈

And I'm confused. Is Stella a big deal or something? She's acting like she's on the cover of Vogue.

What’s with the two fingers up on her right hand ( our left ) in the image with the paper
is that a duck you to those that haven’t sent lovely messages of support for her launch ? That’s all I noticed on the photo and then how washed out she looks !

I wonder if she will suck it up and do a ‘get ready with me’ make-up tutorial with the new products. Not on YouTube but as a reel 🤷🏻‍♀️. Otherwise literally wha it’s the point of her as a partner of that business.

Her and her management need to realize that the days of peak success are long gone. The new generation has not clue who she is and don't give a sh@t about her and her products.
She would need to work hard to do something successful but since she is clueless and talentless it is a peferct path for yet another failure.
Additionally she has that crappy character/personality that makes you just block and delete her channel for good.

Kylie just released this episode thing on youtube about how kylie cosmetics unfolded and in the 2nd episode i believe she mentioned that her mom was trying to get her to market the product and she said she doesnt want to, she wants to do it her own way, so the only thing she did was the day of the drop announce on her instagram that it just got released and it sold within minutes. Tanya, youre not kylie jenner, you will not sell out of brow gel

especially atm, so many people losing jobs etc. making something frivolous like this is just ridiculous atm

I think it's just Tanya's toddler-level of motor coordination and her sausagey fingers, tbf.

The audacity of launching a new make up line when she explicitly said that her YT career (that was based on beauty) was holding her back.

And when she has said in interviews or Q&As that she barely wears makeup anymore. LOL.

I think one of the moments I really gave up on Tanya was when she first started this actress lark and did an interview on Bbc radio 5 live. (might have been Nihal Arthanayak ) I'll never forget the interviewer who had obviously been doing his research asking her about her youtube channel and makeup and she went on to pretty much say that she didn't know anything about makeup and even something like she didn't know what highlighter was for. The way she just blew off what she had been doing and selling over the past years just made her sound so ungrateful. Trying to rewrite your history when it's what your famous for just seemed so stupid at the time. The delusion was incredible.
It was from this interview I think? Not sure if the full thing is uploaded somewhere. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p065fp54

You put it so well. She ‘didn’t’ know any tit about YT and make up when she is chasing for the Hollywood dream; but the moment her acting journey crashed, she is back shilling make up. Ungrateful twit haha 😆
