Yes does Maddie realise Sophie called herself single? Obviously she means sole parent, which is still incorrect. But I think if one is engaged then the term single is just never applicable.

Also her and Maddie are not breaking up - so you have still have the emotional support of another parent. Someone to talk to and share parenting milestones with. Even if you co-parent you may not have that (I don't really with my ex), but she will have Maddie, have a partner to talk about her kids with.
Sometimes that means way more than the actual day to day getting stuff done.

She must have forgotten about her ‘success to co-parenting article back in May and I thought the kids referred to Maddie as ‘Mamna’ or something along those lines.

A live in lover leaving doesn’t make someone a single parent. When their other actual parent is very present in their lives. I would find it SO unusual if someone I was with for a year or so claimed I was the parent of their children and my leaving made them a single parent. Is Scummy confused as to how those children came about? (Probably easy to do because super sexy sexual Sophie was having so much sex with so many people, it could’ve be anyone)
