Any more Mr Tumble -would be sad if he turned out to be a plonker!
Don’t know if he still is but was rumoured that he was seeing Mr Maker, they was seen holding hands during a children’s hospital visit (this was about 3/4 years ago 😬)

I should explain that I worked in radio/podcasts before I became a nurse. My boyfriend and I would also DJ at club nights, so I met a lot of artists that way.

I interviewed The White Stripes back when Get Behind Me Satan was released. Absolutely lovely and down to earth, and Jack bought me a hot chocolate from Starbucks. Meg was really quiet but very sweet.

Fall Out Boy were really late to my interview with them, but Pete rang me and apologised. Was very careful in how to pronounce my name correctly, which I thought was sweet.

Michael Eavis is a national treasure.

All of the Mighty Boosh are as bizarre and eye catching as you can imagine, especially Noel.

Interviewed Kings of Leon during Mollys Chambers era. I got so nervous I kept calling them Kings of Leon instead of their names and they found it hilarious.

Bob Geldolf clipped my shoulder in his jeep at Glastonbury. It really hurt.

Met Charlie (from busted) and his family at a music festival when he was part of Fightstar. His Parents are so proud of him and were really interested in why/how I got backstage passes. Unfortunately I got massively drunk, asked Charlie “Who’s David?” from the best Busted song and he said Busted was bullshit. I wasn’t happy.

Zane Lowe is very short but his presence is incredible. I won a competition for a gig on radio 1 and he sought me out to say hello and doing well on air as usually people were nervous (I worked in radio at the time).

Colin Murray loved the fact I was drunk and telling him that I fancied him.

Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age was very cool considering that I pretty much melted in front of him and had to get my boyfriend to do the interview.

The drummer from Dua Lipa/La Roux is really nice; we hung out a lot as teenagers and he’s always been exceptionally talented and driven. I was a bit of a dick to him when he started dating a friends ex, but I was young. He was really into hardcore emo music.

Alex Turner was really hard to interview, and this was back in first album era. He was really awkward and shy, then again I was too.

Mark Hoppus was really rude; I asked how he was finding Australia and he went “I don’t know, I’ve just bleeping got here”. While I can appreciate that, I’m a HUGE blink 182 fan and literally could feel the tears hot in my eyes. I asked him very little and he gave very little back. Sent his manager an apology email as I felt it was my fault, but it really bleeping wasn’t.

I’ve got loads more, I could be here all day!
I love this as its very much the scene im into. I always had a huge crush on Colin Murray too. So glad Zane Lowe is a good guy too. Very disappointed about Mark Hoppus but I can kind of imagine that unfortunately!!!

Zane Lowe is a great guy. He's a friend of some of my family members. Whenever I've seen him at a gig or so on, he's always been so chatty and kind, asking how family are etc. This was ages ago though, when he was still on radio 1. I just always remember thinking what a great bloke he was!

Forgot to mention this... can’t believe I forget this all the time!

Back when I started on radio, the manager asked me to play more stereotypical rock such as AC/DC, Nickleback etc rather than what I was playing. I was really frustrated and hurt, so I emailed my idol with a demo of me speaking and what tracks I played. Bare in mind, this was before Twitter/Facebook and when things went viral. My idol was Zane Lowe.

A few days later I got an email from him giving me such constructive feedback and SUCH positivity about being a young female in the radio industry, and told me how to handle my station manager. He gave me tips on how to mix songs and told me that he would listen to my show as it streamed online on a Friday night. He listened and emailed me again. This was back in 2005, so quite a while ago now! But I remember taking the email to the station manager saying “if zane Lowe says I’m good... then I’m bleeping good”.

I didn’t mention it when I met him, because it was very quick and he just thanked me for being so confident on air. I wanted to say “thanks to you!!!”

My Mum has the email printout at her house, so I’ll see if I can find it.

Mr Tumble/Justin has ASD, I was told. Used to work as a nanny and the dad was friends with his agent. He doesn’t want people to know as he thought he wouldn’t get more acting work if he decided to step away from CBeebies.

- There is so much more to the Epstein story than anyone will ever know. Bigger names than Prince Andrew are involved. Apparently the Clinton's.
I am friends with someone who used to work for the Clinton's security. He is the most down to earth, genuine guy I've ever met. Would give you the shirt off his back to help you.

He despises the Clinton's, especially Hillary. He voted Trump because he was the lesser of two evils in his eyes.

I knew a young boy who loved Lost Prophets. This is going back to around 2002ish. The boy was about 15. He told me he had become online friends with Ian Watkins after they got talking in a chat room. He was so starstruck.

I didn't think anything of it because in the early days of Radiohead, they used to sometimes come onto the forum and chat to the fans in a completely innocent, fun way.

Obviously years later when Ian Watkins was convicted, I began to wonder about this young boy. I really hope he wasn't abused by him. It plays on my mind.
I used to love the Lost Prophets but after he got busted for child porn I threw out all my cd’s and deleted all my catalogues. Just can’t liaten to the stuff anymore. He was rich and handsome and a rock star just makes you think wtf

Saw Lostprophets open up for Metallica here in Dublin around 2006. The hardcore metalheads were not impressed and promptly bottled them off of the stage. Was never a big fan of the band, but I genuinely felt sorry for the rest of the band when Ian Watkins was arrested.

my friend is in the cover of their first album (he passed away) as he knew the band too. Ian Watkins was everywhere in the scene at one point.

I do hope so
Hahah yes I did say the Rod Stewart one is complete bullshit but its hilarious its a genuine rumour.

Honestly that makes me SO so happy. I absolutely love him, hes a real pioneer and love how he was supporting a young female in a male dominated industry.

Also meant to say that is SO gross about Ollie Sykes, ALOT of things are coming out about emo bands / punk and in particular the UK hardcore scene. Vile. Unfortunately I really do remember situations like that as a youngster at shows... but I digress!

This thread is brilliant!!

I used to be a big tennis fangirl and picked up lots of gossip from online forums. Way too much to mention it all, but these are the rumours about the most famous players:

Rafael Nadal: It's long been rumoured that he's in the closet and his wife's his beard. Some say he used to secretly date a Spanish basketball player.

Roger Federer: I read a few times that he's gay and has a secret long-term boyfriend. Also heard that he had an affair with Stan Wawrinka (who's rumoured to be bi, and also a massive jerk). I don't want to believe this though, because Roger and Mirka are one of the rare celebrity couples who actually seem genuine and well-suited!

Novak Djokovic: Common knowledge that he was cheating on his wife in 2016 with their nanny iirc, and allegedly also with a Bollywood actress.

Maria Sharapova: In the closet and used to be in a relationship with the actress Camilla Bella. She had a highly-publicised relationship with Bulgarian player Grigor Dimitrov, who went on to have another highly-publicised relationship with Nicole Scherzinger, which says it all really!

For anyone who's interested in more tennis gossip, this juicy thread from 2006 has become pretty legendary amongst fans and is definitely worth a read!! https://www.menstennisforums.com/th...2-groupies-have-their-say.78314/#post-3597286

Some other gossip I have:

Mexican actors Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal are said to both be massive womanizers. Diego met his now ex-wife when they starred in a film together along with two other actresses. Someone on a gossip site said that during filming he was getting it on with all three actresses, but his future wife ended up getting pregnant, so that's why they got married. Apparently Diego's marriage and Gael's long-term relationship both ended because of their cheating ways. Doesn't stop me from being a big fan of both of them 😂

I used to avidly read the Digital Spy forums and heard many of the rumours mentioned here (coffee tables, stomach pumping, Cliff Richard, Richard Gere and the gerbil, etc!!) One thing I read that hasn't yet been mentioned is that Noel Edmonds had a facelife that pushed his skin up so high that his beard now starts growing where his nose is and doesn't reach the bottom of his chin! Apparently he has to shave off the top bit and colour in the bottom bit 😂

I agree, Zane Lowe was lovely when I met him (through a work thing).
I also did a work thing where Tim Westwood had to record a voice over. This was about 15 years ago so I guess he was in his 40s then. He turned up to the recording studio with a beautiful girl who looked like a really young Brandii (that rnb singer from the 90s?). She could not have been a day over 17. Looked like your typical sixth former in hoody, jeans and trainers. She didn’t say a word, just sat in the corner where he told her to sit and stayed there the whole time. We offered her drinks and snacks but she declined everything. Then when he was finished recording he didn’t even speak to her, just went to leave and she wordlessly got up and followed him. It was creepy and weird.

ETA: a friend of the family used to work with Mr Tumble and she said he was a bit of a diva but very hard-working, ultra professional and ultimately harmless. Just a mega pain in the arse.
