Warning: Lonnnng post about Joshua Homme and Brody Dalle, sorry for the the wait I've had to pop onto my laptop to type this.
So where to begin with these two...
Josh is 47 now and from California . He was originally a member of a band called Kyuss who disbanded in the mid to late 90's. Josh then went on to form Queens of the Stone Age.
Brody is from Australia and started a punk band when she was a teen called Sourpuss. That band didn't work out and she later went on to form The Distillers. When Brody was 16 she met Tim Armstrong, front man of the band Rancid, at a music festival I think Tim was 30 at the time. This was in 1995. They got involved with each other, Brody then moved to America to be with Tim and they got married. (There's speculation that Brody was using Tim for a green card to move to the states and make better music connections, others say she paid her own way)
Brody first met Josh at a music festival in 1997 while she was with Tim, and Josh didn't get on with Tim so he made up a rumour him and Brody had kissed to piss him off. In 2003 Tim and Brody got divorced because she was cheating with Josh and she claimed he was abusive towards her. Tim had found out about the affair because a picture of them kissing at and awards show was featured in Rolling Stone magazine. Tim despises both of them! Tim was Brody's manager at the time too which added to the tension. Tim claimed he was never abusive towards her.
Josh and her then dated couple years before they got married and both were addicted to meth. I saw on Reddit someone said Tim had wanted Brody to clean up her act and that Josh was the one supplying her with drugs and enabling her. She was trying to get clean when she found out she was pregnant with her first child in 2005.
Fast forward a couple years and they had another child, a son in 2011 ( I've read that this son has some form of learning disability, no evidence on this however) Apparently the gap between the first and second child was because he was a band aid baby (or insurance) and they were going through some problems at this time. Josh released Like Clockwork with QOTSA in 2013, you could say that some songs could be about what he was going through in his marriage at the time. Here's another blind item supposedly about Josh again.

So where does all that leave us now? Josh is going through a very hard time. You can see it when he posts on instagram, its very sad. He obviously loves his children and seems open to a reconciliation with Brody, but honestly they both seem as bad as each other. They've both cheated and been abusive, and had drug and alcohol problems.
Brody seems to be going hell for leather and wants as much out of him as possible. She's setting herself to look like the perfect battered housewife who put her career on hold to raise her family. Bare in mind she's only 41 so could easily shack up with someone else for more money and kids. (if she hasn't already, sources say she has a new man no idea who though) She seems to be a social climber of the highest degree. Josh has hinted through posts and accounts he follows that she's an abusive narcissist with Borderline Personality Disorder. Which in that case I wonder why does he want her back so bad? Men huh.
One more point is Brody is close friends with Courtney Love who Josh and Dave Grohl despise for obvious reasons. She seems to resemble her in several ways...
Since I don't know them personally I can't say if all this is 100%, it's just my amatuer research from different websites. But it kinder paints a clearer picture. Any of the claims I've made that don't have links were all from Reddit comments so I'm not going to share all of them, we'll be here until after lockdown at this rate!
