WWII evacuee - it’s not the child’s fault, but I doubt there were many evacuees dressed like that. I’m sure her mother could have made an effort if she’d thought about it for more than two seconds.

I see Nic has got a wet suit to going cold water swimming in her pool to help her MS. I thought they made a big point about it being heated for winter.
That's true she said it was heated. Bet she cant afford to heat it.

I can't bear Nic but suspect the point of cold water swimming is rather that it's not heated... and therefore cold.
She said that the pool was going to be heated for the winter when they built it and made a point of showing people but since found out cold water swimming is better for MS. Anyway wouldn't mind the choice if I had a pool.
I remember her saying ages ago she went to see a specialist who completely changed her diet for her, told her what supplements she needed to take etc etc, I always feel like she could share so much more info but doesn’t? She talks about her ms but doesn’t share any knowledge at all.
She does podcasts, collaborations and stuff. Tbf I think she needs to be really careful around it because there’s different types and lots of different symptoms. She can’t be giving dodgy medical info, as we know people aren’t always smart enough to not follow blindly and sometimes won’t seek their own specialist advice instead following ‘online gurus’. If she said she was taking xyz supplements people might take them when they aren’t appropriate and it could be damaging.

They have switched the heating off on the pool so that Nic can do cold water swimming. It's her pool, she can heat or not as and when she likes. Also, she has shared which supplements she takes and speaks a lot about eating dark leafy greens and having a varied, healthy diet for her MS. It would be really irresponsible if Nic started telling people what supplements they should be taking and she would get called out for it on here if she did. Nic can't win with that one, can she?
Thank you for this. MS is a long term illness and people with MS will already be getting individual medical advice and not seeking advice from influencers. Plus, some people with MS have mild cases that can be controlled with meds, others more severe.
Oh and to add to this, I can't speak for the UK but MS is taken very seriously where I'm from and people with MS are very well looked after (this is something I know from personal experience) and no medical professional would advise following an influencer/ instagram make up artist for guidance. I really wish people would stop using her MS as a stick to beat her with

Anyone watched the video that Ian made for nic? It’s a beautiful video but if you can’t be bothered watching the whole thing scroll to the part wth Sam and Ryan... Ryan literally ruins the entire video with his stupidity and you could see Sam was getting so annoyed... good luck marrying him

There was absolutely nothing funny about Ryan - even the kids were bored of it.
I don't think it's odd for an ex to be in a vid like this though, plenty of people still good friends with an ex.
Her husband organised the video so I'd say it is slightly unusual for your husband to contact your ex to be in your birthday video. Maybe it's just me
