Ive definitely read comments giving perspective which have been left up and engaged with. For example someone yesterday said to be fair to her she isn’t letting anyone get in any mental health slurs in the comments on her IG.

Or when someone here had commented on her IG a couple of people said SH was engaging in a reasonable conversation which was very nice (that was before said conversation became intense)

I can’t remember, even though I watched her rant. But you would think she would have read all the comments before considering making that broadcast.

For someone with so many ‘friends’ and her ‘great shag’ of a husband, why have neither party managed to get her away from doggedly replying to every tweet and comment she has received in the past 24 hours?

Sali must be feeling massively bolstered though; she’s basically had thousands of people, famous and otherwise, saying how amazing she is, publically.

I wonder if they all know that she ranted about a site she never looked at. Does she have massive briefings with other people bending her ear?

I always found her voice irritating but I used to occasionally watch her for advice, now after watching that video I think she comes across as ridiculously over dramatic and neurotic over a website she doesn’t have to read if she doesn’t want to. It’s not like she’s getting death threats here or being stalked, it’s just people gossiping, they’re not ruining her life. And the fact that she wants to shut this down means she’s biased when it comes to free speech, unless it’s her criticism of others, you can’t have it both ways. I think the video seems a bit like narcissistic rage and it makes her come across as a bit unstable.

A lot of writers don't like comment sections and understandably dislike the fact that so much content is available and expected for free. Are people entitled to make a living from their chosen profession? Is it reasonable for people to expect payment for creating content? If they diversify because print media is offering fewer opportunities and take some of their readership with them should they be subject to scrutiny? Is there a conflict of interest in recommending, for example, an expensive hairdryer which carries the brand name of the salon which gives you complimentary cuts and blow dries? How far can insisting you are honest (with the implication that that makes you unique in your industry) take you? And then socialising and working with blogger/vlogger peers who you started out insisting you were so different from. I'm not going to go on too much about Botox again but it's the thing that I've seen commented on most by those that haven't imbibed the KoolAid. And, lastly, because it's been amusing me all day (though I appreciate others may remain unmoved by it) what makes a toaster a kitchen toaster apart from word count and where the duck else in their homes does anyone have a toaster?

I refuse to believe that she’s not been on here loads of times. It would drive her absolutely crazy to know people are talking about her and not knowing what they’re saying. Remember Mumsnet?
