One of his "traumatic" memories was having to carry a warm cooked chicken on his lap as they drove to their holiday on a boat. Any other person would laugh at that memory, joke that their mother was being cheap, or maybe even praise their mother for being so practical. I think it’s because while there are people that know he’s a liar and will call him Out on his lies, there are sooooo many more morons that believe every lie that comes out of his mouth. They didn't even spend any time together the kids being dumped at omas every night whilst anna and jonathan Swan off to the spa
Even the swimming was sad anna never went near the water leaving alessia to swim alone Emilia uncomfortably photographed and no sign of edie

They didn't see Any sights or Christmas related things outside of omas house and hotel which didn't seem child friendly at all.
Its Anna's family and she's just proved she doesn't care about them just wanted free childcare and adults getaway with matt but had to make do with jono

The only thing they do with the kids is record. They never go anywhere or do anything. It’s sad to see when they’re literally in a position where they have the time and money to do all sorts of activities.
