'Fraid so, it's heartbreaking. Don't even get me started on those arriving at school who sit down to hot school meals at the beginning and don't know how to use a knife. That was another common sight.Christ really?

I can believe it actually. One of my friends is a reception teacher and once, on the first day of the new term, one of the boys asked her to change his nappy! Turns out his mum expected the school to potty train him! She wasn’t happy when she was told that wasn’t in a teachers job description'Fraid so, it's heartbreaking. Yes I've seen cases of that too. More common in private schools so I'm told but either way these kids of 4 and 5 deserve more than this. Grabby in her own way is creating unrealistic expectations for Bentos too because she will soon come to expect being up early and manically busy all day and that's a nightmare to cope with too when it stops.I can believe it actually. I can see this happening to Bentos.Exactly. Kids need to be left to just 'be' and use their own imagination at times. I'm an ex teacher and I've watched some kids just flounder when the parents aren't around to do all their thinking for them.
She’s lying low because whilst everyone is currently sharing and posting articles related to the devastating news about Afghanistan, Grabby probably doesn't want to “get involved” because it doesn’t involve dahlias or lactating which are her specialist subjects...{and for various other reasons we can all hazard a guess as to why...cough...racist}Do we think she’s gone away or has she actually decide to stay at home for a few days with her baby
It wouldn’t match the colours on her grid either.She’s lying low because whilst everyone is currently sharing and posting articles related to the devastating news about Afghanistan, Grabby probably doesn't want to “get involved” because it doesn’t involve dahlias or lactating which are her specialist subjects...{and for various other reasons we can all hazard a guess as to why...cough...racist}
I thought that too.I wonder if Mumma saw the comments about Benpecked on the photographer’s Instagram? Maybe crisis talks at the barn?
I think Curious George has taken over TDMT’s Instagram.
My sister in law was a Reception teacher in a private school and says there is a certain type of private school parent (not all of course) who seem to have the mentality that paying equates to teachers being more like au pairs. So yes expecting the teacher to potty train etc.Private schools? Really? Blimey
bleeping twatsI thought that too.

Wtf though, isn't the age of 4 going on 5 ridiculously late to potty train? I'd be so embarrassed if my kid started school still in nappies!I thought that too.

Exactly! I thought the same also. She hasn't got a bloody clue about current affairs. Like you say.....if it doesn't include Dahlias or pumpkinsShe’s lying low because whilst everyone is currently sharing and posting articles related to the devastating news about Afghanistan, Grabby probably doesn't want to “get involved” because it doesn’t involve dahlias or lactating which are her specialist subjects...{and for various other reasons we can all hazard a guess as to why...cough...racist}
Very late unless there are other health issues.Wtf though, isn't the age of 4 going on 5 ridiculously late to potty train? I'd be so embarrassed if my kid started school still in nappies!
Probably sulking because the weather isn't dreamyDo we think she’s gone away or has she actually decide to stay at home for a few days with her baby
Definitely, the McMuffin clan have probably decamped to Italy or the like, we know how they love to live life on repeat again, and again …and AGAIN!I’m thinking she’s on holiday! 3 days since last post and even the last few posts have been photos from last few weeks. She can’t have been home or local all that time. She would be coming out in a rash if she tried that! And if she wasn’t feeling ok that would have passed by now too going by her past experiences!
Grabby will be horrified …and clutching her pearls!Mama Kedgers seems an absolute hoot![]()
This is brilliant! How is Grabs so boring?!Grabby will be horrified …and clutching her pearls!![]()
