i can’t stand the way you can hear her smug smirk in the way she talks in her videos, the new Paris one specifically she sounds like she’s laughing? weird
I’ve worn glasses since I was little, and when I was younger my mum couldn’t afford the fancy glasses for me so I was always stuck with the hideous NHS glasses frames, which looked just like these. Ruby’s glasses give me flashbacks to having to wear those for years and years and years …To each their own, but as a fellow wearer of glasses, I am not keen on Ruby's. She has petite features and they're very big glasses.
This is so annoying. You're allowed to change your mind about things! No one is going to call her out for being a fake fan of skirts because she used to wear jeans. You can discover a new interest without retconning that you've actually been obsessed with it since you were 4.Just like the jeans, she used to wear jeans almost all the time, then suddenly Miss Patina offers her clothes and just at this moment "I never liked jeans." Yeah ok Ruby, were you forced by mother granger to wear it?
Or the coffee when she tried to look like a writer and just by magic suddenly loved drinking coffee, while she never did it before. Is there even something authentic about this girl?
I still think the trip to Paris was hastily arranged because for someone who claims that she is organised and plans things out everything she did still felt very rushed. I mean she seemed to spend more time in coffee shops and bookshops rather than deciding to visit famous Paris landmarks and when she did visit them i.e. the Louvre she didn't get to see all the paintings that she wanted to.In her previous vlog (the carrots in porridge one) Ruby said she'd decided to stay home and rest instead of travelling during her break. She must have changed her mind. Maybe got bored or something?
She loves being the baby of the family too much for that lol. She can't even share the spotlight with a dog, let alone a baby that she has to take care ofI can't see her having a full-time job. Children possibly, but not a job. Even children would be a big maybe because she can't be a child herself if she has them.
It is actually sad to see that someone whose younger self had grand plans, seemed to have some form of identity along with her "borrowed" ones, now has so little sense of self and is so behind in development that she has succumbed to an ED and this kind of behavior. I cannot begin to tell you how sick I am of her selfies, forced or otherwise, as it is all body checking and ego-inflating. I started watching her because of the term "revision" which is so different from basic studying in the US, and have pretty much left off watching her. I have no interest in watching her anymore. I never expected to see someone attend Oxford be so incredibly boring.Looking more and more unhinged
of course, the sad truth is, she will pass. Even at a place like Oxford failure rates are kept artificially low to keep the customer happyI wonder if she'll even get her Master's degree, assuming she is struggling with the diss. If she doesn't, will she
a) Lie and say she did, then brush it under the rug and never mention Oxford again?
b) Release a 30 min long video explaining why "failure is productive"?
c) Drop off the face off the Internet?
I will say (and I think perhaps I am a bit of a hoarder myself) there are worse things to keep than books, surely?I noticed that and I couldn't honestly believe what I was seeing I mean why haven't they got rid of any of them children's books when both children are now in their 20s. Examples of the children's book I saw were a Phonics Alphapets book, Little Miss Tidy book by Roger Hargreaves, Maisy Goes to Playground and a Noddy book amongst many others. Even when Ruby showed us the pile of books that they were going to keep some of them still looked like children's books and I just thought they won't get read so what is the point of keeping them. I honestly think it's shocking that they have left them in the loft for all this time and have never thought about getting rid of any of them, I mean they must have around 300 to 400 books in that loft possibly more.
Plus who said its an english stereotype? Its universal to talk about the weatherAlso, another comment points out that this week’s Oxford magazine has an article on this very thing. This girl has never had an original thought it her life.
Yup. I was looking at socialblade (mainly because someone in her comments falsely claimed she was losing tons of followers due to the fundraiser she did… I could go on a whole tangent about how some of her most loyal white knights are shedding crocodile tears about her ”going woke” lol) and there was a large peak when she started at Oxford, as well as a definite slump when she wasn’t posting. Plus any video with ”Oxford” in the title does miles better than the rest of her videos. The clock is ticking for Lil Miss Rootabaga. I’m not at all surprised to see her applying for a DPhil because as soon as she’s done with studying, her yt is going to be dead in the water. She’s tried booktube and lifestyle and they didn’t stick.I think she's trying to pump out the last bits of Oxford content before the Oxford views dry up.
Oh she's wearing it with a tshirt again, and its bunched up underneath the dress. A high neck tshirt under a plunge v neck dress...just no! Also it's a horrid colour. And then black tights...That said, I genuinely think that Jade's stained dress still looks better than this

Thank God for Brexit, no more migrant bluebells.
Either of these options are preferable to the (admittedly rather niche) third one, which is that she is trying to sound very cultured and obscure by referencing the 2005 masterpiece The Predatory Wasp of the Palisades Is Out to Get Us! by Sufjan Stevens, a.k.a. the one who has my whole heart.Oh no that's even worse. My mind went to Pacific Palisades because a lot of recent, popular YA novels (e.g. We Were Liars) have been about rich kids. I never would have guessed the title was referencing Ye Olde Medieval Fences. Let's hope there's more to the plot than 'we've lost our fence' because that doesn't sound very engaging.
lol I didn’t even click along that far, you’re doing god’s workWho's the third person at this meet-up, you ask? Oh, that's just their manager.
You surely can’t be bored by lift selfies, exterior shots of the Bod’, endless switching from one library to the next, for absolutely no reason, all of which is interspersed with trips to coffee shops?!I thought this vlog was at least more interesting than her Oxford ones![]()
