It wasn’t a drama and there isn’t any hard proof she plagiarised her or anything like that. It’s just that a lot of people in here believe she relied heavily on her friend Blakeney (her housemate) during uni. In a number of videos, Ruby mentioned that she and Blakeney share all their notes, have access to each other’s notion pages, and they split readings for class between them. They also chose to take the exact same classes. Can someone spill the tea on Ruby using her friend's work for uni? I haven't been keeping up with her for a while.
No she can not, she has to imitate childrens behavior as much as she can in any context. Can she not ready without following with her fingers?
I hope the seagulls were sent from Brighton by MarthaTattlers, I had a dream about Roobee again. We were in Oxford (lol) and I wanted some of her preprinted to-do lists so I offered to buy her lunch in exchange for them. It took her three hours to pick what she wanted to eat - but to be fair, she kept having to deal with murderous seagulls (we were at a fish market). Clearly, I've been deeply affected by her seagull poetry (also I read "The Birds" recently).
People on these threads seem to grossly exaggerate the things ruby does. “She plagiarised her uni work” = she studied with a friend and shared notes (who hasn’t done this at uni)Can someone spill the tea on Ruby using her friend's work for uni? I haven't been keeping up with her for a while.
I don't think people are exaggerating the uni stuff at all. Sure, people share notes, but no one shares every single thing they've done all term for every module. People also don't pick the exact same modules as one of their friends in second *and* third year and then try to pass it off as a coincidence. And the seminar 'debriefs' were the most bizarre of all, considering all you need to do for most seminars is the reading. They're meant to be natural discussions and I don't know a single person who would even think of meeting up beforehand to try to plan what they're going to say. That's what makes it appear that Ruby was mining Blakeney for ideas.People on these threads seem to grossly exaggerate the things ruby does. “She plagiarised her uni work” = she studied with a friend and shared notes (who hasn’t done this at uni)
“She stole money from a charity” = she accepted money from a charity to do an ad campaign about something (still pretty scummy but I’d argue about the “stealing” aspect)
Ofcourse she should rightfully be called out about some things but no need to misrepresent what she’s done….
This. It's not plagiarising, but it's not doing the work for herself, either.I don't think people are exaggerating the uni stuff at all. I get what you’re saying but if she didn’t want us to know them then why make a whole video talking about how her and Blakeney study together? At the end of the day, if she makes out like she does 14 hour study days then she gets criticized, but if she gives out actually useful tips for studying (which is crazy for her considering how inefficient her usual methods are) that could help her followers, like sharing notes with your friends, she still gets criticized 🫠Would I recommend it to a friend sitting that exam, yes. Would I share it on my YT channel of students who look up to me and think I got there because I am a child genius? No.
Edit: not sure what my point was. Mostly that Ruby definitely has tricks up her sleeve that she'd rather we didn't know, but she can't help self-snitching coz she's a bit daffy like that

I am shutting the duck up on this subject now coz I sound like a Ruby stan and I’m starting to give myself the ick![]()
I agree. Blakeney seems smart and confident, I doubt she’d let Ruby cheat off her. Similar to posters above I also shared notes a lot during uni and also split readings with others on several occasions!! Idk who doesn’t do thatThe way I see it, her 'debriefing' with Blakeney probably played into her image of the dark academia lifestyle, in the sense that she's part of a friend group (duo?) whose members are just so passionate about learning and the object of their studies that they diligently discuss these things before and after class. I don't know if Blakeney also shared that mindset, or if she was equally hooked on academic life, but surely if she objected to such a practice she'd say something, no?
It scares me that her hair is loose, I'm worried it'll catch fireThis is completely random and probably been discussed ages ago, but I was just catching up on Ruby and saw this reel of her lighting a candle in her garden to celebrate the winter solstice? She's really gone off the deep end hasn't she![]()
I hear you. My theory is that its a combination of all the ACTUAL bs that she puts into her 'content' that gets some of us a bit riled up lol. At this point, anything that mildly grates on someone's nerves is fair gameI get what you’re saying but if she didn’t want us to know them then why make a whole video talking about how her and Blakeney study together?
