Looks like she's at the "AMMILY DICKINSON Museum". I guess she couldn't find the Emily Dickinson Museum, but I guess it's tough finding your way around an unfamiliar country. At least she's doing other things though and has only wasted a week of her holiday so far.

Edit: She also says "we've gwot syo manny acksoyting things planned fwore tyoday". Not sure if she's considering herself part of the museum staff now, but who the duck knows.

It would be super hard for Ruby to do anything Salem related unless she booked 4 months in advance lol. I was just up there a few weeks ago and just the month of October/November is insane up there. I hope she does well there, but it’s kind of hit or miss; especially if she’s going to spend her days gawking at people in the public garden.

"Elizabeth knew SO much about the space and landscape history. But I don't like not being the expert in everything, so enjoy this silent footage of us talking in the distance. Don't worry, I'll repeat everything she said later in a vlog as if it were from my own infinite well of knowledge."

"...it paints this garden into something real and tangible."

Being able to see that there was a garden full of flowers and trees, walk through it, and smell and touch everything wasn't enough to convince Ruby that it was real. Apparently she needed someone to tell her it existed before it became "real and tangible".

God, this is already beyond embarrassing for Ruby and the museum. Also, the museum's apparently closed today and Ruby's guest-posting on the museum's Instagram. So is this a gifted VIP tour/sponsorship? If so, where's the declaration?

So she got to the Emily Dickinson Museum/House. Interesting, because she seems to be doing an actual collab with them or more than likely bought her way in to have a private tour. The strings this family pulls to spoil their little bratty adult daughter is beyond ridiculous. They must have been disgusted to have someone press themselves on their regular schedules just to appease her self-absorbed playtime. Let's be Emily Dickinson! Here we go. Enjoy the ride! Thing is, when all this is done and over, and she spends a few months milking it, it still doesn't give her any kind of edge in the working world. And how the heck did she get out there? It is hours away from Boston. I am now thoroughly convinced she is not alone. Whether a parent or friend in the states is escorting her, one way or another she is not on her own and is covering up some basic facts on this vacation. Are we surprised? Not in the least.

I have just checked and the museum is closed on Monday's and Tuesday's so why is Ruby allowed to guest-post on the museum's instagram when no one else can visit it today. This is definitely a gifted VIP tour from the museum because to get into the museum timed tickets are required and you must buy them in advance so I think that Ruby has been pressing them into giving her a tour because she couldn't buy a ticket in advance.

I do find it rather amusing that they didn't do some grand introduction of who she is and that she had to post her day on their Instagram, not hers. Apparently they set some rules over this. She makes me nauseous. I can't imagine spending 5 minutes with her before running away and screaming. She must wear people down. Her parents are probably having the time of their life with her not around the house and clinging to her mother's apron strings.

As soon as I read that I cringed, it comes across as condescending. Of course she knows a lot about it, she's a bloody guide, it's her job...

So Brooke was Ruby's babysitter for the day. They probably paid for transportation for her, which would explain how she got out there, if she is alone. Can she do anything like a normal person without holding someone's hand? She couldn't even join in a regular tour and mingle with fellow tourists? That is half the fun!

I wonder what kind of leverage a hairy English fi-bro and his unemployed wife could have over a museum in another country 3,000 miles away. What sort of strings could they pull? More likely Ruby went into some kind of overblown influencer spiel and they caved to it. Maybe they've done so in the past with other influencers (having briefly labored in "influencer marketing" myself, it's sometimes easiest to give them what they want and get rid of them). Or maybe, much as I hate to say it, Americans are suckers for an English accent.

Yeah, it'll be this. She'll have reached out with tales about how she LOVES AMMILY DICKINSON and VARRY MOCH wanted to write about AMMILY DICKINSON'S LATTERS for her dissertation and would JANUINELY love to visit, etc., and leveraged her influencer following for more gifted stuff and preferential treatment.

The museum likely had no clue who the duck she was, but thought, "Well, she seems popular and has a lot of followers, plus she claims to be an avid reader. What could go wrong?" Now they have an illiterate fuckwit posting typos and nonsense on their account.

Did they introduce Ruby in any way or say that she would take over their instagram for the day, or did their followers just find this weird Victorian middle schooler talking about the museum like an outsider?
She posted on her own stories that she'd be doing it, then they reposted the story, but that was it - no indication of who she is or why the duck she's on their account.

And she's continuing the trend of somehow making every interesting place she visits look dull as duck.

"I'm at the AMMILY DICKINSON MUSEUM! SYO ACKSOYTING! HERE ARE SOME TREES AND A CAFETERIA."

The Instagram stories that she has posted give us no information about the museum as she hasn't shared anything that is inside the museum, the museum is really interesting as it has a story behind it but instead Ruby decides to show us the outside where we can see nothing of the 8,000 artifacts that are situated inside the museum.

God I know I shouldn't have suspected anything different but to see that even her trip to the US was sponsored puts such a bad taste in my mouth (and I would assume other ex-fans of hers)

Her entire holiday has been profoundly dull so far, so I've taken the liberty of making the whole disastrous affair a dash more exciting for her and commemorating the trip so far in movie form:
