Just looked... literally only heard of Jack and it's £45 a ticket
Yeah, I wasn't sure if it was just me being completely out of touch with influencer culture, but I don't have a clue who a single one of those people are aside from Jack.

Half of them look like they could be the same person listed multiple times under different, increasingly stupid names.

It looks Z-list even by UK YouTube celebrity standards.

I only remember Zoella and her gang pulling out of SitC back in like 2015, so the peak of this event must be gone by 😆 I don't recognize a single name except Jack and Tomska, but then again they mostly look like 20 old insta celebs so I may not be under their ✨ influence ✨

Can't get over thinking about Ruby in that set up, imagine minding your business and the jarring 'hallo IT'S roobee' jumping at you from the noise of the crowd

I've been really fond of TomSka for years and there are a couple I've heard of on the SitC website other than him, but some of those are "huh, they're still going, are they?" rather than "oh wow I love this YouTuber/Influencer(tm)". That said I wouldn't blame Ruby for not going considering both how she, you know, seems as a person and the current Covid situation in the UK. I don't think most of it looks like it would be particularly fun as an attendee let alone as a panelist, tbh.

Crying!Roobee says Happy Hanukkah, why that is definitely not your Holocaust memorial money in my pocket, how dare you insinuate otherwise!

I don't know why Ruby wearing a yarmulke tickles me so much but it does, especially after the horrid mess that was the Holocaust remembrance #ad.

WHUT? Is she even Jewish?? Because if she is not wearing a yarmulke is incredibly offensive. I don't know as much abut Judaism as i'd like to but am learning from a Jewish woman I know online who, while not orthodox, is very serious about her faith.

I think they mean the little icon on top of the profile pictures on tattle. Several people have Ruby as their picture

They're talking about their tattle icon

Ruby hasn't worn one, but it's worth knowing that it's considered a sign of respect and Gentile are encouraged to wear a kippah if in a place of worship :)
So long as the wearing of a kippah isn't done in poor taste (such as a costume) it's welcome for reasons of respect :)

I mean this thread kind of IS a place of worship…? 😅 (I’ll admit I think it’s perhaps not the best thought out way to celebrate Hanukkah to put it on all the icons, but Tattle went there and crying!Roobee and I are going to embrace it!)

I genuinely considered taking a screenshot of your icon of Ruby with her kippah and make it my icon but I wasn't sure if that was weird to do out of the blue 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah when I went to Prague with a group of friends we visited the Jewish cemetery and the synagogue attached and the boys of the group were asked to wear one by the staff.
Would highly recommend btw, the whole Jewish quarter is stunning

Everything aside, Jack's design looks much more youthful, energetic compared to Ruby's childish cutesy planner. I wouldn't buy neither of their overpriced so called products but I wouldn't be surprised if Jack's sales are higher than Ruby.
I feel Jack's planners is more gender-neutral and would appeal to any student, whereas Ruby's is definitely more aimed at girly girls - no shade to men or non-binary pals who like her celestial doodles, but it doesn't have as wide a reach.

I just realized how tiny the title is. Minimalistic doesn't have to mean useless.

I got the impression that Jack’s planner is a bit more ‘adult’ and aimed at the uni student market, whereas Ruby’s is aimed more at the school-age market with its house-point tracker and so on. Price-wise it never seemed entirely sensible to aim the planner at people who probably can’t afford to buy it for themselves.

It's logical, since it's her main demographic : 15yo who likes aesthetic. Jack's planner is far too expensive too, tho. Like, my uni's planner was free, and got even more stuff than his planner, there's a space for two kinds of two do list, ressources, I really don't see why you would buy an influencer planner for that price.

Gonna wait for gossipguy review of the last video, but jeez there are so many useless features in her planner. And she stole the bookshelf design from like, every bullet journal youtubers.
"Libraries are such a blessing" yeah Rubs it's socialism, maybe you should read a bit about that and realize how immensly privileged you are.
Rich people acting like we are lucky to have free public services like healthcare or education piss me off so much.

happy Hanukkah! 🤣
You should screenshot your new avatar, then put this screenshot as an avatar, then repeat, until Ruby's has like 50 kippas.
