Weird though. Most men are horrified by people like Savile, Harris. Yet TV head honchos seem to know, yet be able not to be repulsed, even though there are surely CHOICES of presenter, etc. Both of these disgusting perverts worked into old age, long after women of their age and condition would have been kicked to the kerb. It’s not as though they were particularly skilled or attractive to look at. Puzzling.
Well it’s like judges who give lenient sentences for this stuff. They don’t think it’s a big deal. Why not? I would think it’s because they’re that way themselves.

It is always interesting to see who the people are who support these monsters. The likes of Jonathan King for example.

I usually don’t mind him but Eamonn Holmes blasting some hate in Holly’s direction yesterday, rather than Phil’s made me think.

I would assume its because he can't due to Super Injections

To quote Johnny Rotten when Malcolm McClaren died:

You're not meant to speak ill of the dead. But he was a bleep.

Eamonn has said plenty about Phil. But he has gone as far as he can legally. He was just trying to readdress the balance as Holly is not as sweet and innocent as she and the media are making out

The headline doesn't hold back!
My friend just told me, I quite literally punched the air when I found out.

Well thank duck for that.
That's exactly what I said 🤣

There's a bit that made me laugh in the documentary where he's being filmed visiting a care home (I think it's a care home?) and he starts singing Two Little Boys, and the people around him vaguely try to join in, but obviously don't know all the words. It's so funny to see him go quiet and give up, because he definitely thought that they'd all know the words and would all want to sing along and it would be this heart warming moment for the camera, with everyone singing and adoring him. It flops so badly and it's hilarious.

Almost certainly days ago. They’re saying it was reported by the registrar, so they likely waited to announce until after the certificate had been issued and body buried/cremated to announce. Perhaps there’s an agreed protocol with press?
The BBC says he died on the 10th May.

maybe it’s naivety as they are or were household names?
I don't think it's that with RH, I think he was extremely good at hiding who he was.
There's a guy in my friend group who will not stop making rape jokes. He does it every time we have a group hangout. One time I said he shouldn't do it and he really flipped his lid about someone standing up to him - he didn't apologise and told me it was alright. This guy is so cuddly and loveable and everyone else keeps telling me he's just trying to be liked and he doesn't mean any harm. But I don't know. Watching the RH documentary made me think about how someone who seemed like the most cuddly and loveable person can be an out-and-out bleeping rapist.

Can't blame them really. He was still their family and they must have had very complex emotions surrounding him and his death. Don't blame them for dealing with it all privately so the press and general public don't get involved.
I agree with this. He’s dead. Bugging his daughter and any family or friends immediately after his death with press/social media shade is just wrong. There probably are complicated emotions and potentially the start of some healing - she might think differently with him gone, she’s probably a victim of his emotional abuse anyway.

The person everyone wants to have a go at is dead, I don’t know why people think it’s ok to harass their friends and family

Actually I just wanted to add a point that I didn't see anyone make in the documentary... RH was acquitted of the charges of looking at sexualised images of children because it turned out the girls in the pictures were 18 or over. However, that doesn't mean that it wasn't paedophilic on his end - if the girls looked young enough that police thought they were children, then he was viewing sexualised images that LOOKED like children. It's good that they weren't children of course, and it's not illegal, but let's not ignore that he was using images that convincingly looked like children as pornography.

And the new allegation in March 2023 from a victim who was 10 will never be charged now

Vanessa Feltz now on Talk Radio/TV again with Kevin O'Sullivan talking again about Harris. She is reliving her ordeal with Harris when she was on the Big Breakfast (on the famour bed) in 1996 when he was basically moving his hands further and further up her dress right to the top of her leg  I think Talk TV are showing the clip (I am listening via Sonos) and she quickly called for an ad break. Worse still his wife was right at the side of the bed as well. Again, Kev has mentioned another very famous TV person doing exactly the same and Vanessa also said she thinks she knows of another too. I really hope these abusers are called out and made to pay for their deprived crimes.

I wish just one of these celebrities had the guts to go 'duck it' and just name these abusers - no doubt others would come forward and support them once someone is brave enough to break rank.

Ding, dong, the n*nce is dead!

Credit all the Tattlers who speculated he’d died a little while back and were right.

If the Grim Reaper is up for another one, Gary Glitter is still breathing.

The thing is, you'd be surprised how many people will continue to employ or work with people who've been accused of sexual assault. Some just refuse to believe it, or will only believe it if they're convicted of it (which is ridiculous considering how few cases even make it to court). It's almost as if some people don't think it's that bad if it hasn't happened to themselves or a close friend.

I'll never forget how he wrote a gloating song comparing his victims to slimy insects and taunting that they were all ugly old women now. But yeah, he's like one of many heads of the proverbial monster and there are still many people involved in protecting the others
