Wow! I just watched this. Maybe if you want to be in the social media/influencer space, you need thicker skin. Josh is starting to have real problems with taking any type of criticism, especially from men. And Jenna, grow the duck up. It’s not like the guy personally criticized her; he just doesn’t like the shopping parts.

You two really need to get a grip on reality. Not everyone is going to blow sunshine and rainbows up your ass. bleeping deal with it. I honestly can’t believe these two are Gen-Xers. i went back and watched. i did think the guy was kinda rude, but i generally don’t get why people feel the need give every opinion. for me the problem, though, was not the original incident, but josh’s reaction to it, as usual.

his initial response to the guy was sharp and harsh, but the bigger problem was talking about it and dragging it out for the next hour. he read off several superchats where the stans called the guy a grumpy old man, cranky etc and josh laughed at all those. if he felt he was initially defending his sister, fine whatever, but then let it go FFS. but i guess you don’t get the sympathy superchats that way, eh?

i guess he can faux apologize for not being perfect a couple days ago, but no one else gets the same courtesy.

I'm very sure they already know and this is probably the bigger reason for him being removed from the position of competitive band leader. I don't think he has much contact with kids anymore, reducing him to more of a general staff level than teacher.

For me it's not how he responds to the parents, but how much hurt does he toss at the kids on a daily basis, particularly if a kid has issues you can't see from the outside.

Again, coming at this as one who was raised by a man like this - the gentleman honestly thought he was being helpful or he never would have approached them. He was having a hard time getting to his point as he made a false start or two trying to soften his words before blurting out what he was thinking.

Josh has said several times before on stream (through a fake tone) How much he wants people to come up to him and offer suggestions. Clearly he doesn't want that or any kind of critiquing that offers those suggestions as how to improve..

In my opinion the man did a decent job of not going hard on Jenna. He could have been far more blunt and made it as clear as a knife's edge that this was the way it needed to change.

If anything, I think we’re going to see Josh crack really soon. He got upset about the “goddamn” streamer comment, he was angry that a police officer didn’t want to be on stream, and now, he went overboard with an old man making a comment about shopping.

Oh please Santa, please let me be in the parks when security is escorting him out. And even better if it’s Epcot, I have some connections there and might even get to see the footage of it.

If someone is going to critique my work I want to hear it to my face, because I want to learn what it is I have done in their mind, listen to their thoughts, ask for suggestions and then go mull them over as I decide if they were right and if I can make any improvements.
Clearly Jenna has never worked on a project in a team environment because this stuff happens all the time, they're called meetings.

if i heard correctly, she at first said she had to leave because she was so mad. but then i thought i heard her say in the background to those people who were following them around that she had to leave because she was about to cry. their parents must have raised them with zero correction and all praise, because i have never seen two people in their mid 40s be such snowflakes.

That’s what it boils down to. If you are a business (and RTV1 is registered as one), then you may get unwanted criticism. Unless, of course, these are just your home movies you are grifting to the public. Grow up, Jenna! Think of all the real problems in the world there are to get upset about. He’s mentioned plenty of times that she can’t make titles, editing is hard for her, or she doesn’t know how to switch connections. Honestly, if Josh wasn’t a supreme dick, he would’ve taken all of those super chats and thanked everyone, and then said he was going to donate them to give kids the world to help them at Christmas time. But he won’t do that, because he thinks he deserves every penny they got - and more. I really can’t stand him, and I hope this is the beginning of the end of their stupid channel.

As someone who's neuro-spicy myself; I immediately recognized the guy's way of socializing. He was definitely not trying to be rude and the fact that a TEACHER showed zero grace is pretty gross.

This guy was just trying to be helpful and it wasn't the most eloquent way of saying it, but it also wasn't mean or said in a way that was trying to make him sound like an expert. It basically sounded like the way Josh probably gives unrequested feedback, but nicer.

All Josh had to say was "Thanks for the feedback and being a viewer" and maybe "We take everyone's suggestions on board, but know our viewers all have different reasons for watching!" and then get on with his bleeping tiny life.

The way Josh acts reminds of me of my narcissistic ex. He would pull the same tit all the time. He could be overly critical, but say something to him and you’re the piece of tit. Even Josh’s tone of voice when he “corrected” that guy sent chills down my spine.

I think Josh looked like an ass on Sunday with the officer. His ego was bruised. So now he’s the white knight protecting little sis from the nasty man.

Plus, there was a huge media event for Luminous that he didn’t get invited to. He had to take his anger out on someone or something, just happened to be this guy.
