And now a moment of silence as we watch the fireworks.
With a slight modification you've got yourself a thread title thereAre "pavers" a new type of cookie at Disney?
Sounds like someone got under Joshie's skin. I'm hoping it was Jenna. So much muting, and multiple complaints today about copyright claims. He just went on an extended rant about Universal again, and how they are wrong and unfair with their copyright claims. Then he said he wasn't trying to be a downer, but it isn't just his family that depends on the income; it's Jenna's household, as well. He concluded his diatribe with, "one last thing, because I know people are getting annoyed, but I don't care, honestly. And I'm not going to change what I'm doing because of a few complaints. If you don't like it, you can turn it off."
I’m gonna guess a cease and desist order from UMG. Considering he just told the stans to go and attack UMG about it. Smart Josh, real fuckin smart.Sounds like someone got under Joshie's skin. I'm hoping it was Jenna.
That would be sweet. if UMG is anything like Universal they do not mess around.I’m gonna guess a cease and desist order from UMG. Considering he just told the stans to go and attack UMG about it. Smart Josh, real fuckin smart.
It’s just funny to see how immature he is with his response. Goo created Goominous, which I thought was actually kinda cool, Ron’s taking it in stride, but our baby Joshie man, he’s crying and taking a fit. That would be sweet. if UMG is anything like Universal they do not mess around.
What Josh fails to realize is that Streaming is a privilege, not a right. He slipped over to the wrong side of that years back. Someone needs to kick him in the head to straighten it out, and UMG might just do it.
As a music teacher, Josh should know better and know to respect artistic copyrights. Shame on him!ok ok…. UMG is wrong for wanting to protect “their” product and artists… uh ok, says the guy who hits the copyright claim on anyone that uses even a smidgen of RTV1 “content”.
Josh is just playing a bigger game of duck around and find out.
UMG is sending a message Josh. Heed the warning or face the consequences. Luminous isn’t yours. Disney isn’t yours. You own none of it. None of it is your IP. So if they want to shut you down, they can and will.
I was about to say the same thing. And I'm sure he considers himself not just a music teacher but a musician. Relying on (i.e. stealing and making excuses for it) someone else's creativity and art to patch over your out of control spending is really crappy. As a music teacher, Josh should know better and know to respect artistic copyrights. Shame on him!
I hope the fine folks at YT advised him that WDW is private property and that his issues and concerns are null and void.I may be late but I saw these tweets. These content creators "walking in public" better be careful

Does he think the "content that belongs to someone else" rule only applies to when people use *his* content?I may be late but I saw these tweets. These content creators "walking in public" better be careful

He was pondering whether his "media contact" at Disney would be able to help him work with YouTube on the copyright claims. He's such an idiot. That would be sweet. if UMG is anything like Universal they do not mess around.

Does “Gimbal Elbow” qualify for Workers Comp? His tennis elbow couldn’t be from holding the gimble for hours on end several days a week?
Only if Mickey Mouse signs his claim form after it is completed in the EPCOT first aid station.Does “Gimbal Elbow” qualify for Workers Comp?
I see this as a "Don't do what I did" series, am I right? With all Josh’s whining about money, I don’t think Stef has any room to talk about managing finances, unless it’s how to get yourself into 32k in debt.
