W’s needs will get more pronounced as he gets older and the gap between him and his peers widens. Parenting a child with any disability is tough and requires a great deal from the child’s parents in terms of time and emotional capabilities. W is only little at the moment but he will require routine, consistency and stability. Multiple care givers is not the answer. I agree that parents need a break but they need to admit that they have more breaks than normal. The last night out I had with my husband was Oct 2019!

And also why the need to force yourself to drink?! If you don’t like alcohol then don’t drink it simple as.
just plain odd!

Some great posts tonight Tattlers! I find it so much easier to come on here for the lowdown of what’s going on rather than trawling through all her drivel. Just a quick one, I seem to have missed what went on with Apicella or whatever she’s called a while back (think I unfollowed her at some point😂), can anyone point me in the right direction?

I think they both have to get off their heads to do the dirty with each other. They but as they love each other so hard, like the most ever 😴 they have to have an obligatory shag. Shame it takes a few bottles of red to make it happen.

Why is she in Brindleyplace in Birmingham? Is she just here for a night away? I used to work in Brindleyplace, gym there, socialise there, practically lived there. I live 20 mins away with 2 small kids now and never have a babysitter so me and hubby can go out 😭

I know every parent deserves it but I can’t help the envy that other parents can just decide to travel to another city and stay overnight because you know, babysitters on tap ☹ And to make matters worse it’s a place I loved 🥺

woe is me right now 😂😂

ive Never even posted on this thread before 🤣 this shook me more than the missing paypal donations 😂😂

You raise valid points but there is no doubt that he was mesmerised by the TV and neither of his parents ever thought to turn it off and distract him elsewhere , it was convenient to them.

That is lazy parenting.
Not necessarily my daughter has asd and she became obsessed wayballoo on c beebies . W is obsessed with octonauts its a very common trait for them to have obsessions. I have a friend who's child watches the same you tube video on repeat . And I guess like me if you have a child with additional needs you'll use anything to give yourself a break and there's no shame in that

Joyce is looking very lady like tonight, more feminine than his wife.

Wilby was plonked in front of the TV from a very ,very young age before any issue of speech delay , sensory issues or additional needs were ever mentioned.

If any of you have Netflix, there is a new series on called 'Maid' its sadly under the genre of comedy but it isn't it is about DV, emotional abuse and about a young single parent navigating life in the most difficult of ways.
I'm half way through this, as a survivor of none physical DV it's a hard watch but definitely worth watching for the fantastic story telling. It's based on a book which I think is a true story.

Really? I think it’s been clear that he’s been stimming for a while. He squeaks and doesn’t say any recognisable words that I’ve noticed. He becomes overwhelmed in certain situations and surely with 18yrs experience, she’d have noticed this?

I'm only just catching up on the thread today as I've been out for the day with the mrs and teenager, just thought I'd remind everyone of her answer when she did a q&a and people brought up Wilby...

Can’t knock them for that, I would in their position if I had the disposable income they have.

Out on their night out loving each other so hard but constantly on Instagram
oh no, i’m not knocking them on going private - it’s nice if you can afford it. i had to go private for a condition a few years ago due to the waiting lists being so long.

good. it’s about time she used her funds for something other than shite cardigans and deck chairs. She’s neglected their needs for years, it’s time she stepped up.

I still think she’s a bleep though.
absolutely!
