Yes! She could 100% be a gg. I used to wear a 34E and now I wear a 30J or sister size is up a back down a cup so I go to 32hh. A cup size looks a lot different when the back size increases

She could well be, we have no idea. As you say, true bra sizes are always a surprise when you get measured. However that bra she tried on in the SHOCK size after the online fitting was a 40GG and it didn’t fit her
