I live and work in London. I went for lunch yesterday inside a restaurant! And I went to the pub last night and sat outside with my work colleagues. These places are open for a reason. So we can use them and keep the economy afloat and people in jobs. This virus isn't going anywhere and a vaccination isn't coming soon and we have to keep working and living. I'm a bit sad on tattle this morning because no one has any good gossip they're just "policing" corona and it's boring! Each to their own guys! Stay clean, look out for each other and don't hug and kiss people you don't know! Can we get back to gossip that's not related to who people are mingling with and wearing masks with?!

We know there are people who are overly indulged babies and for some embarrassing reason can‘t bear a month without restaurant dining and pubs, but it actually is possible. Gasp! As for the economy, the government is capable of sending relief, it’s not meant to be up to you in the middle of a grave public health crisis wherein flooding the health care system will also gut the economy. But you don’t care about that aspect of the economy, you just want the ‘drink wine and get facials’ part of ~save the economy!~ Before a vaccine, the responsibility on citizens isn’t to say ‘meh duck it’, it’s to adjust behaviour in order to keep death rates low and prevent the health care system from being overwhelmed. It’s also possible to “live your life” without restaurants.

I also don’t want to be told to get on topic when original posts like that are allowed to stay up and spread misinformation.

I agree, it is so insane how many influencers are behaving like this as well, it is possible to eat in a restaurant and maintain distance.follow the rules. Once again I am shocked Gleam haven't advised her better (although when do they to be fair). It annoys me especially how people frame it as "saving the economy", which it might well be, but don't act as if eating in a restaurant is some selfless act, it's hardly a charity donation.

Completely agree!! Good for the OP/Nimbob to be prancing around in pubs and restaurants, which I believe is fine *in moderation* whilst limiting social contacts, won’t be so fun if they do get COVID and lose their sense of taste and smell so those little trips out are meaningless as you won’t be able to taste or smell anything for weeks! You’re completely right it is not the public’s responsibility to look after the economy, it’s the government’s and again completely right that thousands of people being in hospital is much more costly than closing the pubs.

She’s clearly trying to prove that she’s moving on and doing okay, when her tiny frame and sunken tired eyes say otherwise. I wonder if she’ll address any of the comments around her lack of social distancing or her lack of promoting smart skin.

Maybe this was the reason they broke up? I would not be surprised if it was a lack of passion. Would explain why she is suddenly posting sultry stuff and hinting at 50 shades of grey stuff. Maybe he was bored with her in the sack and maybe still loved her but just didn't want a sexless marriage.

I don't remember her doing this when she broke up with Marcus. It really seems like she trying to prove she has sex appeal to someone. I'm just not buying it. What a nightmare, to have two almost identical break ups

I think the issue is that someone in her position with a million+ followers should feel a responsibility to send out a good message. Lots of girls look up to her and who knows - if they see her advising social distancing and mask wearing etc maybe they would be more likely to do so. I’ve followed her for years and this is the most I have ever seen her socialise. She isn’t even trying. Putting on a certain Instagram image of “I’m so happy, my life is so paahfect, I’m such a socialite” is much more important to her than sending a good message about safety surrounding covid. She is selfish.

also it's so infuriating that part of her whole brand is ""health"" and ""wellness"".

and she gets to be this figurehead of healthy living just because she's pretty and privileged. when she actually has no idea.
like she literally has no right to say she is interested in health stuff after this. she only cares about the parts of "health" that improve her social currency; wherever she can monetise it and wherever she can use it to control how her body looks. she is only interested in her own vanity.

it would be SO easy for her to throw out a message of positive social responsibility regarding COVID every now and again. it really would be so so easy, and would be such a natural thing to do if she had anyyy shred of goodwill or empathy or selflessness or responsibility. but her silence on the matter speaks volumes.
& of course instead she is flagrantly socialising while things are getting worse with the pandemic, with apparently no inkling of shame or embarrassment, or any kind of explanation/justification as to how she's going about things safely. like the champagne thing really appalled me. the extreme privilege and lack of self awareness of it all.

also absolutely laughable that the one tiny tiny tiny inkling of an acknowledgement of healthcare workers was her getting that present for her bestie C who happens to be a nurse... and it was a fricking advertisement for the present. a couple of weeks after she puts up that whole video saying her online presence is not about just selling things and she is not an influencer.

Yep. I said from the beginning that I think they’ve broken up due to lack of passion. I never saw any passion between them.

My ex and I broke up because of this. We lived together and we both worked from home, so we saw eachother 24/7. It completely killed our passion and we stopped having sex. We still loved each-other but the passion was gone.

I'm sorry to hear that. I think being together 24/7 was what did it for Joe and Niomi too. It's sad that now she's making an effort (not that it's completely on her!) but couldn't when they were together that we're aware of. I'm not sure if that would have saved it though... It seems like there were other issues as well. On the other hand, I think their relationship was quite shallow in that they both seemed to be into one another's looks and not much else... but there's a difference between finding someone conventionally attractive and actually feeling a physical connection..

So true! I think if Niomi stayed true to herself (or more who she was when they first started dating) Joe would have stayed interested!

Think it has been suggested before. He isn't an investor, companies House records show he has no involvement in the company.
