it's not her going to restaurants per say, i have been to a couple. its her lack of distancing, she is constantly pictured standing right besides a huge range of people. whenever i see friends or family i keep a safe distance, as we are supposed to do. it is actions like hers that are risking these very restaurants , bars etc from.being shut down again. it is totally selfish imo

Yeah, the situation is desperate however you look at it. The reason most governments are keeping everything open is so that people keep jobs and can continue paying loans, rents, bills. Home office is a wonderful thing but only applies to a small percentage of workers. Most of the world's population lives day to day and month to month so they need to keep working to survive and in the west it's mostly the service industry.
From what I'm reading here in Germany it's mostly private parties etc where the virus is spreading uncontrollably, in restaurants etc everyone is careful, wearing masks, sitting apart etc.
Still, Niomi's attitude or everything being la la and pahhhfect is horrible and could just skip sharing some of the events she's attending.

Sure, but the policy is to wear masks unless you are seated. I could be wrong but yesterday on Instagram I thought I saw a story of her friend standing up away from the table without a mask. I'm not going to debate the logic surrounding this but it's what has been put in place and businesses have to follow these instructions.

If you care about keeping these places afloat you should care about following the guidelines because these places could be fined for not enforcing them.

I think the issue is that someone in her position with a million+ followers should feel a responsibility to send out a good message. Lots of girls look up to her and who knows - if they see her advising social distancing and mask wearing etc maybe they would be more likely to do so. I’ve followed her for years and this is the most I have ever seen her socialise. She isn’t even trying. Putting on a certain Instagram image of “I’m so happy, my life is so paahfect, I’m such a socialite” is much more important to her than sending a good message about safety surrounding covid. Yeah, this is it. I'm not trying to police her going out-if she showed herself forming a bubble with one other household and going out to eat with them, I would not care. It's the fact it's hugging different friends every night, getting close to them, and sharing pictures. And considering this is just the stuff she's posting online, consider what she might be doing that she won't post for the world to see.

I live and work in London and have also been to restaurants and visited friends, but do so safely, wearing a mask. Plus, I may go once or twice a week rather than her going 3 times a day.
