A quick scan of Verity T's (terrible) book suggests the same kind of entitled attitude that Niomi has, to be honest. Niomi didn't get it from nowhere. I agree that her mum seems really nice in videos, but she has the same kind of made-up job (writer/editor of a bafflingly terrible free magazine) and perpetuates the same harmful "effortlessly glam" beauty standards. She does not get a free pass from me.

I’ve had several boxes from Bloom and Wild but as a company they really seem to buy into gimmicky marketing...around Mother’s and Father’s Day they send emails like ‘we know this time of year is hard for some so let us know if you don’t want to receive marketing’ but they send that email several times? Like once is enough you know, it seems a weird thing to send multiple times. If you didn’t hear from me then it’s fine, and if I didn’t reply but it wasn’t fine then sending it again would not be helpful idk.
I totally agree re her book, I do think she takes herself way less seriously than Verity and Niomi though which makes it stand out a lot
Marketing is all it is. Bloom & Wild knew it would get newspaper inches, twitter worked up etc. It's free PR.
