I’ve been thinking about her post for a few days but honestly everyone else has more eloquently expressed my thoughts. One thing though, I’m not even 100% convinced the filming of the reaction is even genuinely from when she found out. Not sure why but I get a feeling that she actually ‘recreated’ her finding out.

I thought the exact same thing. It's like she did a test, got a positive result. And then re-did the whole process again, but this time set up a camera and did a bit of acting.

There was a historically tragic event that is happening and instead of providing any sort of context, narrative, information, Nelly makes it about herself and last week's drama about her reel and then throws up a link to a petition! It's absolutely disgusting to use other people's horrible tragedy to deflect people criticizing you. It reeks of self centered "whataboutism"

As far as I know she has never once mentioned Palestine or the genocide unfolding, aside from the link in her vinted account. She is the absolute worst.

I know many people who have had abortions and I’ve also been there to support someone and I know they done a scan to check the gestation, they asked if they wanted to see, my friend said no. They did not offer to print off a sonogram, I asked another friend (who changed their mind whilst at the clinic) if they had one and they said no the person doing the scan said they don’t print them off as it’s not normally a scan for a pregnancy that’s progressing, so why does Nelly have or even want a scan picture from an unwanted pregnancy

The dress is one of those super clingy ones that are hardly flattering on anyone. The main issue is that it’s fast fashion and poorly made. There’s no shape or structure to it at all, it’s a horrible dress. It’s the skims one and they charge £80 for a modal/spandex dress.

She’s obviously wearing more flattering undies in the first part and has gone with a too small thong digging in to her in the later part of the video. And I think she’d have benefitted from going up a size so it doesn’t cling to her body and skimmed her curves a bit more.

She’s absolutely right though, the problem definitely is the dress not the body. But then you’ve got to ask her why she constantly buys, promotes and profits from poorly made fast fashion? It doesn’t make sense. She’s also claiming she got the dress “unknowingly”

She’s made being outraged and sad her personality. Which is tragic. Nelly is young, attractive, healthy. She has access to treatment for her mental health issues. She has so much to be grateful for in life, I wish she’d step outside her own head and stop scraping the barrel for things to be outraged about.

I actually went to Brighton recently and we parked in the area where Nelly lives. It’s a nice leafy suburb, close walk to the city centre and a pebble beach. I was thinking how nice it would be to live in an area like that.

I didn’t do much over the bank holiday but I felt so grateful to be cosy, indoors and relaxing. I’ve had a lot of trauma and mental health issues in my life, I don’t see the appeal of sitting indoors and crying over it. Every. Single. Bank holiday. what a waste of a life.

she then talks about how “guilty” she feels for couples trying to conceive?!?! In the same video?! So inappropriate and out of touch. Other women’s struggles aren’t yours to use for content!!! Women struggling to conceive isn’t about you!

I don’t think she’s a well woman. This isn’t even the first time she’s used an unwanted pregnancy for content.

She will do anything for engagement, it’s disgusting. If she’s not stealing other women’s ideas, she’s cosplaying a fat person for engagement, if she’s not doing that she’s spitting in the faces of women struggling to conceive.

The little put on facial expressions she did towards her positive pregnancy test, so that she had a visible reaction for her content, she’s just an awful person. And to top it off, as with all her content that she thinks is the best thing in the world and we cannot control ourselves in excitement too see it, she now thinks people are buzzing for more “get excited” how about get fucked Helena

Ive literally never ever posted on here but Nellys post about her abortion has infuriated me beyond belief. I couldnt even find the words to explain why when I am and always will be pro choice. Id forgotten she previously had a miscarriage and its made me even more angry the way shes gone about this. I find the whole thing so distasteful. We all know that abortion should not be a shameful thing but I don’t think it should be glorified or portrayed through social media like this. I am literally gobsmacked. Im very close to unfollowing her as I can not believe this is a genuine post. I dont know what shes trying to achieve in doing so? Although in her poem stated she still has goals to achieve so therefore needed to do it? Has she not seen 10000s of women still achieving their goals despite being mothers?? Because I have and I think thats empowering not this in this situation. I dont know why but its made me question so many things im just glad im not alone in how I feel about it.

I’ve been dipping in and out of the comments and there are so many woman saying ‘it’s not a baby… it’s cells… it’s just like flaking skin etc. But o find the way she addressed it was as though it was a baby! Referring to ‘bean’ and the dove emoji- maybe it’s just me but I take that as peace?! As in rest in peace.

Yes, very strange and I can imagine it would make some women who had an abortion feel worse. The few women I know who have had abortions were comforted by 'it's not a baby..just cells etc.' The language Nelly uses really personifies. She's upset a lot of women with this reel, including those she intended making it for. I'm absolutely pro choice but she's been an absolute dick about how she went about this.

so much of what she does it snakey… from claiming to donate to charity from her Vinted, to stealing ideas from others, to dirty deletes on brands who don’t want to work with her anymore, to the outright lying… right down to the very basics, like her name.

I’ve never come across someone so inauthentic and dishonest as Nelly is online.

And now she wants to start an effing petition about using BMI? A simple google shows there have been several started already and quite a recent one on change.org…..not saying they’ve got very far but some date back a good few years. This is not a new thing? People have been saying this for ages, how does she suddenly think this is something new??? Everyone I know is well aware of the fact that generally speaking BMI is not 100% accurate and doesn’t take into a lot of other factors and so it’s more of a guideline rather than something to be taken as gospel! She really has got nothing better to than steal peoples content for social media and come up with “new” ideas that aren’t new and have already been floating around for years anyway!

Exactly. Even the NHS website points out that it has its limitations. It's just another excuse for her to post her clickbait underwear photos.

I’ve followed this one for awhile, have never been on the thread, can someone please fill me in on why she’s always having boob surgery ?

it’s always been a bit weird tbh. It’s worth scrolling back through the threads actually, because it’s an interesting read.

If I remember right, her weight as a teen would fluctuate because of her bad relationship with food. Her boobs got big around that time (when she was skinny they were a lot smaller, she’s posted pictures of this time and someone else posted a bit of a timeline).

Nelly said that it was super uncomfortable and her bra straps would dig into her skin. In all honesty, it sounded like she gained a lot of weight really quickly and a lot of it went to her boobs, and she struggled to cope with the significant body change. A good bra would’ve mitigated any straps digging in.

anyway, around 18/19 she finds out breast reductions are a thing, and instead of going via the NHS her and her mum go to a private surgeon. Within two weeks she’s booked in and going ahead with the reduction.

after coming out, she noticed that her body has a bad reaction to the stitches and basically rejects them. She’s left with really bad scar tissue and she has a couple of ops to fix things, like putting her nipple in a better place, reshaping them etc.

This sounds awful, and maybe this isn’t a fair take at all. But the sheer amount of surgeries she has feels a little bit much. She goes into a lot of detail and it makes me feel.. a bit off. Initially a lot of it made sense, they needed to fix the scar tissue and they needed to reattach a nipple. But… She’ll have big stitches and then by her own admission, open up her bandages when she’s categorically been told not to do that. She’ll dance around a week after surgery and wear things like wired bras, only to book herself in for a surgery at a later point. Even now she’s openly admitting she doesn’t follow the advice she’s been given on dressings to the letter. After so much surgery, surely anyone sensible would be overly cautious..?

I kinda wonder if this could be a little bit self sabotaging, self harming and if she likes the attention she gets from having all these ops?

because on one hand, she loves her scars and is happy with her body - so why is she continually submitting herself to these surgeries over and over?

I listened to a podcast about Münchausen syndrome once, specifically the case where a girl called Megan had a big online presence and her medical history because a focal point and a way she got a lot of attention and validation online. I really hope this isn’t something that’s feeding Nelly because she uses her ops a LOT for content, she speaks about them in the news and on podcast etc. in other words, she’s built part of her online identity on these surgeries and it’s concerning
