Hard to say less. The population was smaller so the percentage could have been the same. I often wonder if some of the greatest minds in the last 500 years were autistic - composers, scientists.

Probably so! Research into autism has come on leaps and bounds, especially very recently. There will be many people of the older generation who went undiagnosed and there wasn't much awareness at all really. A stereotype existed (male, non verbal, stimming) but over time researched has developed and minds have been opened!

Autistic gal here. Will limit myself to say just 3 things:

1. Please can we learn the difference between the words neurodiverse and neurodivergent

2. We cannot say for sure if hinch is or isn't autistic and I'm finding the speculation about it all a bit boring tbh

3. I think what we can all agree on is that she exploits that poor lad for £ and is terrible for doing so. Autistic or not she is an attention seeker and terrible mother

The flip side to this announcement is going to be potentially a huge surge of new referrals to GPs thanks to hinchs cryptic drip feeds.
In wales there is a 10 YEAR WAIT!!! for adhd referrals.
My friends works at CAMS and she said there’s a clear divide from patients who you can see 100% need help and others who state they’ve watched tik tok videos so they must be !
Sadly she said desperate ppl have gone to online drs paid hundreds and in Wales that doesn’t give you nhs free medication or recognised for certain nhs specialist help

I'm in Wales and begged for help all through school for my Son, he didn't get diagnosed with many things until University, diagnosis included dyslexia too, cams never helped us, waiting lists are a nightmare, hopefully Ron will get all the help he needs, grinch I couldn’t care less, hope she keeps the kids away from social media now, let them grow in private and not be used for monitory gain.

Why would you want to knowingly put more and more children through this? If you now know you're 'autistic' and keep having autistic children, then you're not autistic. Because nobody with autism would keep having autistic children. Even autistic people who have pretty great lives and pretty high levels of functioning go through hell. It's NOT fun. Esp as an adult.

Seen a post in MHMMDI on fb, a woman with severe ocd and finds grey soothing and not triggering, so her full house is grey including her little boys bedroom, but they want marvel (yano like young ones do) and she's finding it hard to commit due to her ocd and not wanting to remove grey anywhere. Post is still up, it was something along those lines.
I know nothing about ocd so I'm not knocking her or the condition, at all, it must be awful, but isn't it funny how she's in a mrs hinch group and it all started with grey with that bint.

Mrs Hinch is dangerous, she's a dangerous woman to get obsessed with.

Surely She'll have to flip it out so it's picture facing down. Then find a way of flipping it back onto a table (or framing board) without it completely falling to bits.

The ND community will see right through her bullshit and I think that's one of the reasons SSS swiftly ditched her, she's been in the industry long enough to know you don't play on medical diagnoses.

With the amount of kids Stacey has, one of them is statistically neurodiverse in some fashion or other so it's no wonder she's ditched Hinch. I'd put a small bet on that being why.
